5-5 and 119 on December 27th 2013 -last Friday. I usually float between 118 and 122 depending on how much water I'm holding, lol! But I'm all legs and arms! Nothing in between except good hips. ;)

Feeling fat doesn't help anything, I really hope that none of you really feel that way about yourselves
Are you kidding me? Having been 21 lbs. thinner in May and already feeling fat 21 lbs. ago, I feel like a ground sloth now. I need to lose all of it, but at least each pound lost will be like a little peace found on my sliding scale of girth.

Even though I have slight features and narrow shoulders, it's not easy for me to maintain my current weight. Physical activity is key for me. If I stay couped up in the house I'll easily start creeping toward 130 which is absolutely too fat for my bone structure. Ya gotta move it to lose it girls! ;)

Nope not kidding at all... I've been all over everywhere weight wise, feeling fat never goes away or does me any good.  If you feel fat on the heavier side of the scale, you still will on the lighter side.  Its ok to want to lose weight, but feeling bad about yourself, never a good thing to do under any circumstances. dont feel bad about it, just change it and dont dwell on it is all I'm saying.  But this is probably a bit off a topic I should avoid anyway.  never accept an comparison from yourself that you would slap someone else for saying or would feel bad calling someone else.

Welcome to womanhood, we're all self concious about our weight. It's just part of being a woman girl! ;)

Ashrock, being on that sliding scale yet still being unhappy with your weight no matter where it lands may apply to you, but not to me. On something like this, girl, you should probably just speak for yourself. I'm in a tough position being injured and having to lose and maintain my weight loss on diet only, but I'll get there. I had a traumatic event that lasted for nearly three months upset my life tremendously, but I'm glad I spoke up about it and our Friday weight spot is now someplace for me to go to. However, for people not to feel bad about their weight no matter what their eyes, bodies and scales tell them is one more reason why this country in particular and the Western World in general, is eating itself into a huge, deep and early grave. I'm not trying to be a bitch, but for decades being in good physical shape was the only thing I could seem to do right. It was all the other things like pretending I was male that made me suicidally unhappy.

And it's why I originally wanted this tread to remain very simple.  We need a place for you and I, and all the other girls posting our weight to get a little kick of motivation.

Hugs hun. ;)

So I just got weighed and with my sweats on I'm 158lb, I gained almost 30lb the past year. Last time I was at this weight I looked overweight but right now I just have curves really. Is it normal to gain that much weight on hrt? Oh yeah I still look rather skinny too.

This evening is gonna be tough one... I was 70.2 kg 10 mins ago... I seriously doubt to be under 71 kg tomorrow morning... :).

Ok! The first week has passed, and despite eating much too much over the new year holiday I've come out the other side at:

82.6kg or 13st or 182lb

...which is no change on last week. I'll take that! :)

My first post on this thread.

On September 16, 2013 I weighed 247.7 pounds.

Today, January 2, 2014 I weigh 203.2 lbs (-44.5 lbs) and finally starting to really see the difference and I feel so much better.  I plan to lose at least another 25-30 pounds. I am 6 feet tall.

I am keeping a food log, calorie counting with 1500/day max, and running on a treadmill usually 4 days a week.  When I first started the treadmill just walking 30 minutes was difficult, now I can go at a running pace with some incline dialed in and keep going for over an hour!

I am 5'11", 1.81m.  This is 0.5" shorter than my pre-HRT height.  My wife is now the same height as me.

Fri 18/Jan/2013:  201.6lbs (91.6kg) - First measurement, I admitted I might be (ha!) trans 2 days later.
Fri 21/Jun/2013:  167.0lbs (75.9kg) - 7 & 28-day rolling avgs: 169.0 (76.8kg) & 170.2 (77.3kg) - 3 days after I started E.
Losing this weight involved watching my diet (home-cooked food as much as possible & no snacking) & walking daily (4 miles) for 5 months.  I had read that it is easier to lose weight on T than on E.
Fri 11/Oct/2013:  171.6lbs (78.0kg) - 7 & 28-day rolling avgs: 172.3 (78.3kg) & 171.4 (77.9kg) - I relaxed a bit after reaching my target of between 12st (76.4kg) & 170lbs (77.3kg).
Fri 01/Nov/2013:  183.6lbs (83.5kg) - 7 & 28-day rolling avgs: 181.2 (82.4kg) & 176.2 (80.1kg) - After visiting the parents for almost 3 weeks.
Fri 27/Dec/2013:  174.8lbs (79.5kg) - 7 & 28-day rolling avgs: 174.5 (79.3kg) & 175.8 (79.9kg) - Last Friday.

I have a graph of my daily weight since 18/Jan/2013 (I'm a bit of a numbers geek) which I don't seem to be allowed post yet.

EDIT:  This graph shows how my weight changed from 18/Jan/2013 to 1/Jan 2014:    http://imgur.com/7MrBW8K

Fri 27/Dec/2013:  174.8lbs (79.5kg) - 7 & 28-day rolling avgs: 174.5lbs (79.3kg) & 175.8lbs (79.9kg)
Fri 03/Jan/2014:  172.4lbs (78.4kg) - 7 & 28-day rolling avgs: 173.8lbs (79.0kg) & 174.8lbs (79.5kg)

My weight dropped a lot this week.  I started walking daily again after not being able to for a few weeks due to surgery, followed by a lingering cold & a flu.

btw:  I tend to pay more attention to the rolling averages since my daily weight can fluctuate up or down by as much as 3lbs (1.4kg).

Sorry I was late posting. JoAnn and I went to Tahoe last night, and tonight watched the light fade over Emerald Bay.  Yes, I know we're splitting up, but we still like to travel together.

I got down to around 216 just before the holiday season hit.  I should be back there before too long now that the holidays are over, and I'm back to my normal routine of swimming 3 to 5 days a week.  The goal I've told everyone so far is 175, which would be a good "male" weight for me, but I'd like to get down to 150 or less.  I'm not as concerned about the number though, I just plan on continuing what I'm doing and I'm sure my weight will normalize at some point.

Grats on the progress Zoe !  :)

I only chose 170lbs as my target because I had seen that as the suggested maximum weight for 5'11" men on doctor's charts (in Ireland).  But really my goal was to be able to look down & be able to see my belt again.

Of course, this journey being what it is, no sooner did I get to being able to see my belt when the view once again become partially obstructed, just not by my belly this time ...
