Oh I LOOoooOOVVEE my chocolate! I just throw in a little more physical activity to burn it off. Otherwise it will pack pounds on ya. Ice cream of any flavor is another of my weaknesses, lol! ;)

LOL ... That was the one snack food I allowed myself throughout last year, although I did reduce my intake a bit (OK, a lot).  But cutting it out altogether was just too much for me.

At least you managed to keep your weight about the same ... unlike some other people ... /hides ...

The wife's health scare seems to have passed, so I am hoping I can get back on track this week.

Seriously you open my fridge and 2 shelves in the door are devoted to my favorite chocolate goodies. Joan's right though moderation is key and for me, so is keeping active. I've stayed at 5-5, 118-120 lb's for the last 7 years living my current lifestyle. I don't work out or go to the gym mind you, I just try and get some physical activity each day. Lately though with it being as cold as it's been though I have cut my caloric intake by about 250-300 per day because I've been stuck inside. Still enjoy my chocolate treats daily though, lol! ;) :D

It pains me too to even think about it :(

I went to an all-you-can-eat place on Friday night and I ate all that I could.  I gained 4lbs...

I have a goal of 160lbs, but my body seems to have had a look in that direction and spotted something more interesting in the opposite one. 

Anyway, good luck everybody with the diet and exercise!  :angel:

Those buffets will do damage if you're not careful.

I had a strange week. I gained 2kg (4lb) literally overnight last Friday after an all you can eat meal at an Italian place. I spent the week cycling it off and finished at the same as what I started the week.

So,

27/12/13 87.6kg (182lb)
24/1/13 83.0kg (183lb)

I seem to be stuck at this weight :(

I'm up a pound but I have a pinched nerve in my back that's keeping me inside, and I've been doing lots of sit ups lately so I'm going to chalk it up to extra muscle.

Congrat's alabamagirl.. 2lb a week is ideal and about best average we can expect in healthy weight loss..
After all 2 x 20 weeks equals a big number 40 right!

Oooh, good idea, I could use some motivation!

I'm 5'11", currently 174 lbs, target is 150. I've lost 6 pounds since the start of the year, so 2 lbs/week... I'm pretty happy with that pace.
Trying to figure myself out, one day at a time, and hoping it's true that 40 is the new 20. ;)
