1/31/2014    -  202  So bad, and after so much work shoveling snow yesterday.  Here's my Facebook post ...

Ten hours ago

I'm such a nerd. Weighed two 1 foot cubes of of the icy snow for an average of 21 pounds (call it 20) , and the deck is 33 ft by 10 ft, or 330 sq.ft. The snow was 2 ft. deep, so yeah, 13,200 lbs of snow. The deck is clear, and that snow in this picture is actually piled up on the lawn six feet below.

Today - 143.5lbs
Last week - 147.5lbs

I should probably move into maintaining this weight instead of losing more.

Well, a pound is a pound, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed after last week's progress.
Trying to figure myself out, one day at a time, and hoping it's true that 40 is the new 20. ;)

You're about the same height as myself.  I lost weight fast at first, but I was starting from a bit over 200lbs.  My rate of progress declined as my weight dropped.  3lbs in two weeks is still really good  :)

Be well,

Good work in one year. My loss was similar in the first year, and even though it leveled out after that I feel great.  Keep it going.

Thank you, I shall. My goal is to get down to 150 (I am 5'8"). Since I started taking Spiro I find myself actually craving and eating healthier foods than I would have chosen in the past. A unexpected but very welcome side effect.

Thanks! When I started regular exercise and diet changes two years ago I was at about 220, and dropped weight pretty steadily until I hit 180 last summer, and I seemed to plateau there. It's only been the past month when I finally broke through that invisible barrier and started losing again. So being where I am is still better than where I was. :)

I continued to run despite the lunar new year holiday when people usually eat too much. I had a shower today while running to my office. I will run back to my home if the rain stops.

I am afraid of measuring my weight, and fortunately I do not have a scale at home.

barbie~~
Just do it.

Well I weighed 194 at the beginning of this week and I'm now at 197 again.

That's ok though because Ive been eating like a fatty all week. The plan goes diet for two weeks, enjoy myself for one, and repeat. It seems to trick the body into food mode instead of storage mode.

Been a bad week so I did no bike riding due to some things going on :( I will just start riding a bit longer next week from 40mins a day to 1hour a day.

A straight line may be the shortest distance between two points, but it is by no means the most interesting

Sarah Leah, I thing weight loss does level off every now and then before picking up steam again, so down get downhearted :)

Hmmm... Things seem to be going the other way for me.

27/12. 82.7kg
31/1. 83.0kg
7/2. 84.1kg

I really need to turn this around.

Well, it's Friday again? Here we go....

Height: 5ft, 5 in.
1/10/2014 120 lb's
1/17/2014 118 lb's
1/24/2014 120 lb's
1/31/2014 121 lb's
And this Morning 2/7/2014............Shwheeeww!! 119 lb's! Had to weigh myself three times to believe it. ;) I think alot of my weight's fluctuation between a couple of pounds one week over another is water weight. This could be the case for some of you girls out there too. Therefore I wouldn't sweat it unless it's a gain of 5 lb's or more. ;)
