Now this is frustrating.  I sometimes don't eat all day, then eat to much at night. No self control.  :P

Kitty, we can do this.  I know we can.  It means so much to me, and I have to.  Lets get next week done right.

Honestly guys/gals the best thing you can do is run. First mile is for fat, anything after that breaks down muscle. Hit some light weights and prepare to be toned and gorgeous!

I'd love to run again.  :)  Did x-country in high school (Class of 1969).  But I have 4 feet of snow outside, and it's 4 degrees F.

I'll wait a couple months.

Current weight 184 lbs. Down 4 lbs from last week. Goal weight 140 lbs.

Current Weight: 185 lbs. Up one from last week. Goal Weight: 140 lbs.

Damn, even did cardio 4x last week. Disappointing, but I get in these weird plateaus then drop a dramatic amount, only to repeat again :/ Wish it was a more-even loss.

Running hurts my knees too much.  A soccer injury to my left knee & a drinking injury to my right left me unable to even cycle without pain for 13 years.  I'm not about to undo the minor miracle my physio worked to get those bits working well enough for me to cycle again by going and pounding on them.  Walking has been working well for me.  I will add in some cycling when the roads are a bit less icy.

I'm not too far off my 'goal weight', and yet I wonder why being less than 168lbs (12st) feels so much better than being over 170, even if only by a little bit ....  /sigh

Sarah Leah, I thing weight loss does level off every now and then before picking up steam again, so down get downhearted :)
Oh Hai, Joan is right.  I have found this to be the case quite often over the past year.  I get around feeling bad about it by looking at my 28-day rolling average.  It tends to fluctuate only by small amounts (except when I visited the parents).  Eg: The green line in this graph:    http://imgur.com/7MrBW8K

It is rainy this week and I ran just 3 times this week. But I increased the distance up to 13 km, taking about 1 hour and 20 min.

Also I ate a lot. Hopefully the rain stops today.

I used this ideal weight calculator  http://www.healthstatus.com/calculate/ideal-healthy-weight and looks like I am in the ideal weight for a woman of 5'10", although I would like to lose a bit .

I went from 156 last week to 155 this week

I'm only 5'5 or so and will never get under 165.

currently 200.3
Never say never LordKat. I'm 5-5 and while my 119 lb's may be too thin for you depending on your bone structure 135-145 might be realistically within reach. I don't go to the gym nor do I excercise at all in any traditional sense, but staying active is the key and what works for me. You could find an outdoor activity you enjoy and that would probably be enough. I'm not trying to give advice nor criticize, I'm only tyring to make a suggestion because you sounded a little down about your weight that's all. And if I've misunderstood I apologize.
All my best. ;)

At 165, I got put in the hospital for malnutrition.
Goal 175, though 180 is cool.

Started at 265 BTW

147 (67 kg) gives me a 27 inch waist, and my goal is 26 inch at 143 lbs (65 kg).
Very difficult despite my regular exercise.

My friday "saturday" weight is 151 lbs (68,6 kg)

:(

A few days back I was with 148 lbs (67,3 kg)...I believe this is the result from this:

I don't know if BIS Lacta exists or if it is common outside here, but a similar chocolate is KitKat! Also delicious to eat alone...and feel the results on the day after...

I got a refrigerator door shelve stocled with kit kats, hershey's with almonds, 3 musketeers, reese cups large and small, and more too numerous to  list. I take my chocolate seriously, lol!  :D It's probably why I can't lose that last 5 lb's too.  ;)
