I know it is no longer Friday but I have only just got access to a set of scales XD

Height = 5' 9" BMI = 24 TBF = 26% TMM = 32%

Current Goal = 140 lbs / 64 Kg

170 lbs / 77 Kg    31.01.14 2

165 lbs / 75 Kg    14.02.13

163 lbs / 74 Kg    24.02.13

I exercise for an hour on the cross-trainer every day on a pre-programmed cardio workout.
If this trend of 1kg per week continues I will hopefully have hit my goal about the time I have my first appointment with the NHS (yes I know I am being optimistic XD).
I refuse to live in fear! Come hell or high water I will not back down! I will live my life!
But you have no life.
Ha. Even that won't stop me.

I will protect even those I hate, so long as it is right.

Let's be honest I had/ have it to lose. I am working on 2 lb a week now for next few weeks then down to about 1lb to 1.5 lb a week. It has slowed somewhat in last 2 week's. Basically I have done 3 things:
1. No/ low carbs
2. Taken up jogging
3. Stopped drinking alcohol

LOL .... OK, you got us.  Any one of those three would give you good weight loss, especially the third.   :)

I myself am happy to hear that some of us have had some progress this week. The rest of us girls seem to have remained stagnant. I've no doubt the 5 lb's I want to lose would fall off if I'd lay off the chocolate for a few weeks, lol! But that's way easier said than done. ;)

Yep. I dropped quite a bit (not that much, but yeah) when I stopped drinking soda.
Trying to figure myself out, one day at a time, and hoping it's true that 40 is the new 20. ;)

200 grams less this morning - I am definitely starting to see a pattern there! :)
...
152 lbs this morning!

Emily, if you are weighing yourself every day, then it's probably a good idea to weigh yourself every day & keep at least a 7-day rolling average.

That is what I do.  It helps on those days when my weight goes up a little (or a lot), but I can see the rolling averages & graph are still trending downward.

I can send you a copy of my spreadsheet (with the formulae already entered & graph configured) if you like.

Be well,

Tessa

I have to do this early because there's a distinct possibility I won't be on the Internet tomorrow. I'm 5'6"

2/22 133 lbs.
2/27 131 lbs.

Yay! Walking for at least an hour a day in below freezing temperatures seems to be working, and also worrying about whether my bf can accept my history. That's a guaranteed diet plan. :)

I've always said physical activity is key to losing weight. Yes you have to watch what you eat, but if you don't balance that with physical activity your doomed. Mandolym your only an inch taller than me but you look great at 131. If I was at 131 I look fat, and feel fat. Congrat's on your progress. I'm going to get outside myself today and do things around the house I need to so I can get my physical activity in. I used to love to walk and ride my mountain bike but my left hip and lower back has put a stop to that in recent years. But I still get my activity by piddling around the house with my boat and other things.

Thanks Ladies!! Its been really hard ignoring some of my favorite food to eat. (like ice cream and pizza!) But I've just been enjoying my pears, veggies, and assorted healthy foods everyday. Plus running for 10 minutes every other day. lol

justjournalhonestly

5'9.5 266.9 today (and not a single food craving since I came out, which was previously unheard of with me. My daughter says it is the honesty that has freed me.)
from 300 the day I finally came out to myself as my honesty lead to clarity 1/21/2014,
from 305 when I started to admit I was not being honest with myself around 12/28/13.
(Nearly hit 370 until I was diagnosed type II, lost weight due to ketosis but still did not care really, but did hover in the 290 in the summer to 315 range in the winter for many years.)

Did my first official Yoga class yesterday too! Kicked my kiester!  :D

I'm 1.68 cm / 5'5 and 59 kg / 130. My ideal weight is 55kg but I'm really having trouble getting there and staying below 60. I want to jog again but it's really bad weather and I don't want to go to a fitness center. I'm not really excercising atm but I'd like to combine dieting with cardio.

I forgot all about today being Friday. Now it's Friday evening -the worse part of the day to weigh yourself. Oh well:

Height: 5ft, 5 in.
1/10/2014 120 lb's
1/17/2014 118 lb's
1/24/2014 120 lb's
1/31/2014 121 lb's
2/07/2014 119 lb's
2/14/2014 119 lb's
2/21/2014 120 lb's.
And now Friday evening, 2/28/2014, 121 lb's. :( :( :(
Don't know if the extra lb/s. is from it being the wrong time of day or what. Oh well, I'll re-weigh myself in the morning to be sure. I sure hope I'm not going backwards. I guess I'll find out tomorrow morning.
