Height = 174cm BMI = 23 TBF = 25% TMM = 33%

Current Goal = 140 lbs / 64 Kg

170 lbs / 77 Kg    31.01.14
165 lbs / 75 Kg    14.02.14
163 lbs / 74 Kg    24.02.14
161 lbs / 73 Kg    09.03.14
159 lbs / 72 Kg    Today

I haven't actually done any exercise in a week. I sort of wore my legs out after running 5.5 Miles a day without a break for 3-4 weeks.

I think my completely quitting drinking has helped. Though it's made things more awkward socially (e.g. yesterday was St Patrick's Day...)
I refuse to live in fear! Come hell or high water I will not back down! I will live my life!
But you have no life.
Ha. Even that won't stop me.

I will protect even those I hate, so long as it is right.

How did you measure your body-fat?

Another busy weekend coming up so updating today. I guess this has become the Thursday rather than Friday weight for me:

2/22 133 lbs.
2/27 131 lbs.
3/6   129 lbs.
3/13 125 lbs.
3/20 126 lbs.

I knew this week was not going to be a losing week because I went out on a ton of dates last weekend and so had lots of fun but big meals with desserts and such. I hate to be one of those girls who only orders salads on dates so I indulged. I also have dates this weekend so I guess my goal for next week is maintenance rather than losing. I'm comfortable at 125 so I might just stay at this weight.

Just a smile for your doing a Thursday Weight hun. :)   After all last week date night, and I'm sure that was a lot better than standing on a scale.

Isn't 135-140 a good weight for you? I don't know how tall you are though.

I'm 5'8" and have not yet reached 40 years old.  ;D Today I hit 137.6 lbs. I could have done better, except I had really bad intestinal problems a few days ago. I had to intentionally "plug myself up" by eating oyster crackers (carbs bad!) and laying off my beloved bulletproof coffee. I'm back to normal now, I hope.

(Rolling averages are a better indicator of progress than single data points.)

Missed last week.  After running on adrenalin for over a week through the job interviews, acceptance paperwork & tests, I crashed on Friday 14th and slept most of the time until Tuesday.  I think I may not have been fully over the pneumonia I had 3 weeks ago.

I ate very badly while going through that, and skipped many walks after hurting my foot on 7/Mar.  This week has been much better.  I managed to get back to where I was two weeks ago  :)

I wonder how much the 28-day average will rise next Friday ?  It is being brought down by the week I had pneumonia, & those numbers drop out of the 28-day average this coming week.

I am due to start the new gig this coming Tuesday (25th).  I don't know how four 10-hour days per week is going to affect my diet & exercise.  I have been working from home for a few years.  Actually travelling to work again is going to be a big difference to my routine.  (Not to mention having to wear outdoor clothes - no more business meetings in my underthings ...)

My goal was from 67 kg (147 lbs) to 65 kg (143 lbs). Yesterday I purchased a scale, and found that I already reached the goal. Actually, I overreached it by 1 kg. My weight now is 64 kg (141 lbs), and BMI is 18.9 (normal).

Mission completed!

Whew, the broken rib has limited me to the stationary bike but luckily that is enough with improved eating habits to resume my downward trend. This is still the easy phase, so it was important for me to see some weight loss even with this light workout regime. As I heal up I hope to return to my weight lifting and yoga as well, which hopefully will continue an accelerated improvement at least until 220 if not closer to 200. Then I expect things to start to tighten up, as even in the Marines I was often 192 at my peak performance. Though I ate everything and anything back then, as I could mostly get away with it.

I weighed myself this morning but forgot to post the results. Well girls, it looks like the cold I had and my achalasia acting up was good for a few ponds loss.

Height: 5ft, 5 in.
1/10/2014 120 lb's
1/17/2014 118 lb's
1/24/2014 120 lb's
1/31/2014 121 lb's
2/07/2014 119 lb's
2/14/2014 119 lb's
2/21/2014 120 lb's
2/28/2014 121 lb's.
3/07/2014 119 lb's.
3/14/2014 117 lb's.
And this morning 3/21/2014 still 117 lb's.

It does worry me when I lose weight without actually trying to do so. Yes, my goal weight is 115, but I want to get there the right way. ;)

For mostly ten years I've been 236.
In the last year I've averaged 224.

Now that I'm starting the process as of Jan, I just weighted in last night at 216!
New personal best.

My goal is 165.  I know I can do it, because in high school I was 180.
Time to go for a bike ride!

No. A problem is that the scale is strange. When I measure in the morning, my weight is 64 kg. But at night it becomes 67 kg. Today morning I measured again, and it was 66 kg. My wife also says that the scale is not reliable.

I will continue to monitor my weight.

Ouch.  I admit I don't accept what my scales says unless it gives me the same weight twice in a row.  Apparently my weight varies slightly with my posture.  The worse I slouch, the heavier I seem to weigh.

I do have some confidence that my cheap (digital) scales is at least consistent with itself, which would give me reasonable relative weights from one week to the next.  I also find the digital readout much easier to record than trying to figure out where exactly an analog needle is pointing.

For some reason, within the past few days, several people have commented on how much weight I have lost.  This puzzles me, since I got down to 170lbs at the end of May 2013, and have been trying (often vainly) to maintain that since.  Granted, some of my current weight is in slightly different places now ...

1/24 - 174 lbs
1/31 - 173 lbs
2/07 - 175 lbs
2/14 - 173 lbs
2/21 - 175 lbs
2/28 - 174 lbs
3/7 - 172 lbs
3/14 - 170 lbs
3/21 - 169 lbs

My sweetheart and I got in a tickle fight a few nights ago, and her reaction when she grabbed me was "you're so skinny!" -- made me feel good about my own progress, but a little sad that she's having a harder time with her own weight loss program (do cis girls have a harder time losing weight than trans girls, or is that just an urban myth?)

As far as scales go, I've found that my weight fluctuates a little through the day, so I've chosen to always weigh in at the same time and under the same circumstances (first thing in the morning, after peeing but before breakfast, buck naked). Otherwise it's too hard to know where I'm really at.
Trying to figure myself out, one day at a time, and hoping it's true that 40 is the new 20. ;)

The best time to weigh yourself is first thing in the morning before eating or drinking anything. I have a digital glass scale and I too find it much easier to read. It also will weigh you in multiple values such as American Standard, metric, etc.

My biggest detriment is chocolate, and ice cream. It's also why my fridge is at the opposite end of my home, lol! ;)
