Well I'll join in this too. It might help motivate me some more.

90kg/198lbs Day 1 of Tblockers (6mths ago)
72.5kgs/159.8lbs 03/05/2014

Goal 65kg/143lbs

My Goal may change depends on what HRT can do for my face as I tend to start to look 'gaunt' if I get down to low. I'm hoping it reduces that a little, time will tell I guess.  I'm 178cm(5'10/11) in height.

Glad I at least maintained my weight, was worried as I slacked off on my exercise routine for a week.

I'm on board! I've lost 15 lbs so far this year, and close to 40 over the past 5-6 years but I'm stuck. I've reset everything, so here goes:

05/02/14 - 244.0

My transition date at work is August 4th and my goal is to shed 20 lbs by then. That's appx. 1.5 lbs/week.

I'm the same way. If I didn't drink 2 16 ounce Nestlie flavored milks (700 calories) for breakfast I lose weight uncontrollably. Though I still have just a few pounds to lose, I'd rather lose it slow and healthy.

Nice to see some new adds to the thread! Glad to see the positive movements for so many. JaneNicole is kicking butt! Kyra you are a total inspiration for me. Those of you having a rough go of it gaining weight, I never have known that problem but you have my support! Now on to my rant for the week...
Missed my goal for the week, and realized I started to set weekly goals which in the beginning I told myself to AVOID!!! So I am scrapping weekly goals and getting back to just focusing on healthier living first and foremost, which I have been really successful at. Even when the weight loss is minimal, I have done well and really noticed the loss slowed when I began to focus too much on weekly goals (I will still weigh in weekly, always have, but not focus on a number.) I have noticed greatly improved flexibility, and now seeing some strength gains even though I am not trying for any (unlike when I used to lift back in the day) and suspect that is making the weight loss slow some but for the right reasons. Also, I may be a tad too restrictive on calories and that comes from the weekly goal thing. MY BIGGEST OBSTACLE IS MY SLEEP, and I just noticed that this week too, so I am going to have to let things slip for sleep. I need to make a better effort to get eight hours of sleep rather than five. Also, getting to bed closer to nine rather than midnight. All in all glad I lost almost a pound.

360+  at my highest weight when I found out I was type II. Went to 340 from ketosis, then with off and on half-hearted efforts over ~6 years to get to 300 on 1/21/2014. That is when I came out to myself and started to care about living again and things became absurdly easier. My daughter attributes it to living honestly, which makes life easier in the ways that matter most.

I'm glad to see your still posting here Toni, I'm happy to be a inspiration. :)

If it helps at all I lose about 3 to five pounds a month. I run/walk twenty mins a day off and on in a week. While at work I only eat a couple oranges or a banna a day. Though I only hold back on a good egg toast bacon breakfast (or a toasted blue berry bagel with butter) now and then. I have a slow metabolism so I stack on fat easy and because of this I don't eat after work until breakfast the next day, just water. Though on my Sunday off work I enjoy good food.

I've also been waist cincher training for a year and it helps to burn allot of fat. So yeah switch diet to fruits and vegetables and learn to like a empty stomach. You'll lose a ton of weight in a slow healthy way. :)

I have been doing basically what you described since January, and then the weight fell off because I was simply SO out of shape. But it has been kind of steady at a pound a week for a while now, and that includes a few oops days. What is waist cincher training? I better google that one! Probably a bit more than I am ready for yet, I have the walk at lunch, some stationary bike sessions here in there at night watching a tv show or two, minor weight lifting to tone a few nights a week, and then yoga wednesdays. All pretty basic stuff, though I have added a few step days here and there, and attempted a hula hoop workout that was laughable (I nearly broke my shin bones if that gives you a hint of how laughable it was) so I suspect waist cinching may induce a hernia! :P However, in a couple of months I may be at that stage. By the way, it is working for you totally as you (as Billy Crystal would say) "Look marvelous baby!"  :D Keep up the good work and the inspiration, you help us all!!!

Care if I join?  This is a wonderful idea. 5'6" tall and 180 on the nose.  I have been in that range since highschool.  I am down 19 lbs since Feb when I left my old job.  The quality of my health has gone way up though and I was getting really worried about that.
I do not exercise nearly as much as I should or would like too, but I do have a extremely active lifestyle and work life.

Last time I went on night-shift (2011), my weight loss stopped & reversed a bit.  This time I am still managing to lose a little bit.  Although my level of exhaustion seems to be about the same - hence posting my "Friday weight" on Sunday.

This week, my Friday weight was the highest in 4 weeks, but my highest weight was on Friday, whereas on the 3 previous weeks my lowest weight was on Friday.  The weekly average is heading in the right direction.  This is the lowest it has been since Sep 2013.

Pain due to nerve damage from a biopsy last November is making my daily walks very hard to finish.  I hope the docs can do something about that.  The pain now is much worse than anything I experienced before my fairly minor surgery.

I hope the doc can get you relief, but the good news is you are in that target range none the less. So great effort to fight through it. Hopefully you get fixed up proper and can solidify yourself in the range you set.

Two years after having both my hips replaced and the long road back to a 100%. I finally have the body back I had before. Strong core little ab action going on....awesome!!! We'll :( after a doctors appointment on Monday my 1st replacement might be failing, I will know more in 3 weeks but I'm so f'n nervous right now. If I need another surgery I could be down for 3 to 6 months (crying) all the hard work I've done will have gone to ->-bleeped-<-. Waiting on a blood test to see what kind of metal is in my system. Fml . Pre surgery 2012 I weighed 175 today 146.3 lbs

Thanks Toni  :)

Not much relief yet, although working >40 hours in 3 days might have a little to do with that.  One more day until the weekend!  (I love having a 4-day week.)

Much as I love the effects I am getting from Prometrium (ie: zero depression), it does seem to be making be full of poop (physically - it is a given that the metaphorical sense applies).  I am not feeling hopeful about tomorrow's numbers.

I am glad to see some people joining the thread, sad to see some leave, & grateful for those who keep posting.  Since getting the new job a few weeks ago, this thread is often my only visit to Susan's each week.  Thank you all for helping me by being here.

Sadly I am in the same boat, since starting my new job this thread is about all I post to outside of an occasional welcome to a new member when I take a few extra minutes to say hi to a new member here and there. Which is why I love the gals who are able to stay on top of that, it is a huge effort that I know for me made take the time to get started here. When things slow down and hopefully before I move to the next stage of my transition, I hope to get around the site more. Till then, posting my weights to keep me honest trying to move in the right direction. Birthday weekend took it's toll, so I too may not show improvement tomorrow as I am .2 over and just ate a personal watermelon! LOL My Fitness Pal claims it is less than 400 calories, but my stomach is saying "WHATEVER YOU DUMB BEYOTCH!!!" :o

My stomach is AWFUL, and that is literal as well and metaphorically, hehe.  ;)

Myka, you are in my prayers, as I know hip problems just not on your scale. I have had issues with my right one since a racquetball injury over a decade ago. It's enough at times to slow me down, so I can imagine how terrible it must be to have surgery on them. Hoping it is something that a non-surgical option can remedy. No matter, get well soon and you've proven tough already so you can make it.

I know the feeling. A lot of my friends think I'm too skinny now, and crazy to want to lose that last 5 lb's. What they don't understand though is I know my body and what weight range it feels best in. And that's 110 to 115 lb's. At 5 ft. 5 in. tall I was 118 last week. I haven't weighed yet this morning but I will in a few hours when I get up, and hope I'm on my way back down.

Best wishes,
