360+  at my highest weight when I found out I was type II. Went to 340 from ketosis, then with off and on half-hearted efforts over ~6 years to get to 300 on 1/21/2014. That is when I came out to myself and started to care about living again and things became absurdly easier. My daughter attributes it to living honestly, which makes life easier in the ways that matter most.

Initially, my target was the simple visual of not seeing my belly protrude over my belt.  That remains my primary target.  Despite some fat redistribution, there is still some fat being deposited where I don't want it to go (ie: the gut).

Apologies for disappearing for a month.  I got a little lost inside my head for a while (stupid computer game).

Playing computer games for several hours a day does not seem to make my weight go down.  Imagine that.

I have recently discovered a women's NA meeting only 4 blocks from my house.  The meeting has been there for 8 years, but I only found out about it 3 weeks ago.  They are accepting me as Tessa, despite my masculine voice & features.  I have been receiving nothing but warmth from my NA family since I came out as transgender in June 2014.  Speaking of which, I should start getting ready.

Regarding my weight:
I am tempted to allow my weight to rise a bit to see where the fat wanders to.  Fear of "the return of the man-gut" might counter that temptation.  Although that has obviously not been the case over the past 3 months.

Height 6'
When I made up my mind to transition it was November 26, 2014 and I weighed 225 lbs
Currently I weigh 196 lbs
Goal I am thinking 130-150. All I know is I want to look the part that I feel.
How I get there well smaller portions about 1100 calories a day intake and gym 7 days a week and just running on the treadmill no incline.  I just let the miles stack up.  Hoping to find my weight before I see about HRT as I hear it is harder to lose then.

Ok, count me in I guess. I have started exercising and not exactly dieting, but just cutting out the random snacking and excessive junk food. I've been holding at 162 for about two weeks now, though my scale is not especially precise.

It's been a long time since I've posted in this thread but it's a new year. I'm 5'8" and have had a battle with 140-142lbs for the longest damn time and I'm tired of it!  :icon_burn: My goal is to get back to 135 or below, which a few years ago I could easliy attain.

Today because of Jessica in an around about way, I have discovered I have been making a big mistake. I have lost track of my real goal, which is better overall health, and got caught up in the weight loss game. I have become more involved in losing weight, and stopped just letting things come to me as I discovered myself. Does this mean I need to stop posting here? No,but I will re-focus on what this is all about and am kind of glad I reset things to January of this year in my last post, it fits with this eureka I had. I know I want to get to 155 before I start hormones, but I have been sweating the roller coaster I have going on here. Not to mention, then getting so off track about what I am doing day to day weight loss and eating wise, I really have failed to focus on advancing me in the other areas that I need to. The things that aid in making me happy are the things that get me to being more authentic. Yes, I really do want to lose more weight, but is it really about health when I start to stress about my transition? Probably not so much.

I am just grateful in responding to a facebook post to Jessica (the well known one on this site who welcomes so many so nicely) that I had this eureka. I have a funny feeling this is going to lead to a new progress in my weight loss anyways. I really have been stuck since I landed in neutral around the State Fair affair when I stopped doing anything else as I put stipulations on moving forward. Sure, recently I did a couple practice runs with makeup, and a few other things half heartedly. These do not help, they actually lead to doubts and more stress.

Why do I mention this? In the hopes it may help others who might be stressing about weight, because they too, put too much emphasis on it rather than just the right amount. Keep things in focus ladies, don't fall into a pattern that makes you unhappy, and neutral does that to me. So back to progressing in my transition, which is still baby steps, but at least steps.
