360+  at my highest weight when I found out I was type II. Went to 340 from ketosis, then with off and on half-hearted efforts over ~6 years to get to 300 on 1/21/2014. That is when I came out to myself and started to care about living again and things became absurdly easier. My daughter attributes it to living honestly, which makes life easier in the ways that matter most.

2012-13 (heaviest): ~205 lb maybe, don't remember exactly
01/16/2015: 198 lb
01/23/2015: 197.3 lb
01/30/2015: 193.2 lb
Target (by the end of 2015): 165 lb

I don't know how this happened, but I seem to have lost nearly 5 lb in 3 days. My exercise and diet were both out of whack until Tuesday, when I had inched back up to 198 lb. I got the diet back on track but not the exercise yet, but when I weighed myself today, it was 193.2 lb. It's been the same machine, similar clothes etc every time. Still wondering if the machine is faulty. :P

Thought I might jump in here and post my results from the last year.

February 2014: 261 lbs, heaviest ive ever been.
October 2014: 208 lbs, from March till October it was radical lifestyle change. Eating less, exercising more. Death of my father led to a lapse; 70+ day binge drinking and poor eating habits led to a gain of 12 pounds.
January 2015: 208 lbs, less drinking, still eating more than I should of things that I shouldn't.

My goal: 185 pre-HRT. Alaska winters don't help, but I plan on dropping 15 lbs before April and another 10 or so through the summer. I have a lot of upper and lower body muscle mass that will atrophy naturally on hormones, so by the end of 2015 I hope to be a healthy 165-170 and stay there.

Ps. I'm 5'9", 30 years old as of mid next month. A tip for weight loss success: Do not diet. Lifestyle change. Only make changes you can live the rest of your life happily being devoted to. Hiking saved my life.

Started estradiol this week. This supports my theory that there was a temporary jump down after starting the spiro the preceding week. Interestingly, I plot my weight (sampled irregularly but more than weekly) along with a linear fit, and currently the fit to all the data goes exactly through my starting weight and today's weight. That works out to 1.6 pounds per week, which seems like a pretty sustainable loss rate.

I nearing my goal of 150 lbs that I'd like to achieve by Feb 25th, which is looking very realistic if not even a little ahead of schedule ... it would sure be nice to even be a little below my goal weight. Here's to wishful hoping and continued success to us all.

Preface to myself:

I need to lose at least 40 lbs, preferable 60, for my own desired body image and for the upcoming SRS. (Sometime in late 2015)

My goal is to do this in 6 months (16 June 2015) by reducing calories, portion control, and walking (with some light running as play, not a pursuit). Ideally, I'd like to walk 3 miles a day (which is about an hour's worth) in addition to cutting out nearly all sodas (except 1/week).

For now, I will use this BMI calculator, just because I found it on Google and it is easy to use (and for consistency).

Current Stats as of 16 Jan:

BMI: 33.1
Waist measurement: 46"  :(
Bra band size: 48"
