Wow Andrea Linda, that is inspirational success. It is also extremely impressive how rapid your weight improvement has been!! Keep on rockin babe! :-)

You do look "hot" and I can only imagine how awesome it feels to look at yourself and say "Hey I am finally seeing who I am meant to be!" Which you certainly have done. To be at the tweaks and squeaks part of your journey must be very rewarding. You go girl!

Wow. That's impressive. I sometimes hike 10 miles on level ground around my town, but climbing a mountain must call for being in pretty good shape, all right. The beautiful scenery must make it worthwhile, though. I think if I lived there I'd give it try, too.

Hi all!  I haven't been around here for a while.  We moved and my scale got packed away and spent 8 months in a box in storage.  Of course it's still possible to lose weight, but somehow the ritual of the daily reminder with my scale makes a real difference to me psychologically.  Has anyone else noticed that?

So today, I'm admitting that my weight crept back up (especially the last few weeks) because I've been lazy and haven't made a consistent effort to get it under control.  I've done well for a week here and there, but I haven't changed my lifestyle back to the good habits I had established.  So now I have my scale and I'm going to start tracking my weight and food in my "Lose It" app.  Wish me luck!  :)

Yes. The mountain shows unique scenery depending on the season. I love May and October.
I am going to the top again through a different course next weekend with my graduate students.

Like Barbie, I run a lot.  My normal routine is 5 days/week @ 5 mi/day, 1 day of walking (5-10mi), and 1 day of rest.  Sometimes I run more and sometimes my body gets burned out so I'll take a week long rest with just a few walks that week.  I eat what I want within reason and try to stay around 1500-1700 calories/day with around 50g of protein per day.  Up until recently, I was losing about 10 lbs. a month, but now that I'm close to my target weight I'm slowing down my weight loss to a pound every 1-2 weeks.

I still have way more muscle than I'd like so I'm keeping my final weight goals flexible.  For now, I'd just like to get down to a body fat percentage that looks good with my current muscle mass.
