So I figure if I'm going to be hanging around here then I should probably introduce myself, eh?
A little about me: I'm 23 years old, but next week is my birthday so not for much longer!

I'm a music student studying composition at SFASU in east Texas. Music is a huge part of my life. I've been playing since 2003 and in the past decade have learned to play several instruments, taught private guitar and piano lessons in Dallas, was the lead music theory tutor at one of the community colleges in Dallas for a few years, have earned two degrees in music, and am now working on my third. I love teaching and one day I want to earn a doctorate in music theory and teach composition and theory at the college or university level.
I've dealt with gender dysphoria since I was about 13 and in the past few years have come to terms with the fact that I am transsexual. I've only recently begun to come out to select people as trans, and I've been lucky that so far they've all been accepting. Now, I'm starting the slow process of making and executing a plan to make the outside match the inside, so to speak.
That's all I can really think of at the moment, but if anybody has any questions I'll be glad to answer them.

So, in short: Hello!
