Story of a disturbed boy

Just had a long discussion with my former best friend... 
He doesn't support me in my feelings and thinks I'm doing stupid things. He thinks I'm just getting in my adolescent crisis and that I'll guilt all my life if I do my "dumb idea" (as he said) and that I can't decide now. But even when I said him I was thinking about it for months or years he said it won't be a definitive idea and that I'm narrow-minded and that Susan's Place's members are manipulating the peoples who come here because those who come are weak or insane...
I now got a pain in my heart of loosing this friend who always helped me in the past and who now says I'm insane and need to wait or see therapists...

You are not weak!  No one is weak who faces their fears.

We support all in the transgender community, including those who do not transition, or who detransition.

"Support" means, in part, getting you as much information as YOU need to make decisions for YOUR own life.

Your friend may be concerned for you, but he is the one being manipulative.  Invite him to come here.  I would be happy to discuss the issues surrounding gender dysphoria with him, and how they are affecting the lives of trans people.

Im really sorry you had to hear those words ,that friend of yours sounds really ignorant and really careless...its obvious that he doesnt have a single idea about what being transgender means...it might be hurtful...but you are better off without this kind of people...
and dont let this get you down...as I said to you , people who love you will accept you...

Basically you just got rid of a very mean person the way I see it...I wouldnt want to have a friend who thinks that trans people are insane...would you?
Really dont worry though, most people dont see it that way...

and to make you feel better let me tell you ...I too have delt with that kind of words...but know this...its your decision, only you know wether something will make you happy or not , you decide your happiness...

So forget these mean words you heard and go on, nobody said it will be easy,  I know you are strong , you are actually stronger and wiser in a sense than most of us here...we were too scared to deal with it or too stupid to realise...thats why we didnt do it at such a young age...and thats why it hurt us a lot more, thats why Im encouraging you to move forward, no matter what you decide at the end,because I dont wont you to go through all the pain of growing up as a guy...Id rather wish that you would see the joy of growing up as a girl

I said him to come and even only read a thread and he just doesn't want to see what he thinks it is. In other words he believes what he sees but he doesn't want to see it to keep his actual thoughts about Susan's Place.

I'm sad because he was always helping me and now says I'm doing crazy things due to my puberty and that I'm insane...
But I don't think I should keep a friend who thinks this way.

I too want all of us to be happy (and the whole world too) even if it can be difficult.

I just need to find the force and the good moment to tell my family about this. It'll be the hardest thing to do but it will deliver me from the closet and from my pain. But if you say I'm strong, so I'll can do it !
