The reason I ask is for one I will eventually get a binder but I first have to figure out who to get it sent to,  Second I'm athletic, I also have gym next semester I can still run, Play basketball and everything else with one on, I one of the lucky ones as far as chest goes I'm small Thank God I'm a smaller B, But the thing is I like wearing tighter shirts to show off my muscle, especially polos and what not, So my cjest dusphpria has risen alittle because of he fact that my guy friends who have nice pecs or it's just flat I just want my chest not noticeable tight shirt or not.

They also should really make binders for athletic guys because I know you can't exercise or play sports with one on, They need to look into that, Just sayin

Well IMO it's because the thought of a binder and the thought of athletics are contradictory to each other. You want a binder to hold everything in place tightly , make a chest appear flat and ect... in sports you want everything to move as free as possible and to be extended to full extent. I know it's not fair , but even without playing sports or strenuous activity it is not advisable to wear a binder for extended periods of time.

I know this might sound silly but have you tried the option of training/sports "bra" like a real tight one? and then maybe a layer of compression shirt over that. Unless you are like a small A it would be hard to get a male looking chest with just a compression shirt. I used a binder with a compression shirt over that and got good results though I would be wearing a polo or some ish over it.

Yea it does suck, I'd have to try that though I just don't like the bra showing in the back, When I wear some what tight shirts

They also make strapless ones . I don't know how good they are with binding though.

If that's your reason, don't get your hopes up about a binder fixing the problem- every shirt that you can see my sports bras in, you can see binders just as bad or even more. Tight shirts and binders, at least in my experience, haven't worked out well.

I bind either with an underworks tritop, or gc2 compression shirts. They're designed with people with gynaecomastia in mind, so I don't know if they're stronger than Underarmour compression shirts, but I can't imagine anything weaker working. I wouldn't want to wear the gc2, or even my tritop, with a tight shirt anyway, because although it looks like pecs with a looser shirt on with anything tighter it's clear that there's no separation between the two pecs due to the shirt stretching over them.

I can't exercise with either of them on to be honest, but then I can't stand wearing them all the time even when I'm not doing anything physical. I wore one to the gym, just on the cross trainer and it wasn't so bad, but later that week I went to circuit training and almost had to bail out it was so hard. I ended up bruising myself or something and spending the next week unable to breathe deeply or do anything else without being in pain.

Compression, of any sort, and exercise is a bad combination.

Just saying that from my experience, tighter shirts make my binder look like a sports bra. Mostly the neckline.

I've played basketball and everything else with a compression shirt on, I was completely fine minus the tightness, My sister ran with hers she was fine, My dad has used them and he was fine, I think they should make other things for athletic guys like me, To me that's not really fair at all

If you've used compression shirts before then I don't understand what you're asking here.

The reason they don't work is just a matter of physics.  You can't squash something without applying pressure.

You can at your size (maybe maybe), the results may not be perfect but they should be a lot better, and help out (maybe-- in your case I don't know since you seem like a perfectionist). You really kind of need to do layers. You can do a couple compression shirts. Or you can wear a compression shirt, something like a muscle shirt, and a button down shirt. Wear plaids or something like that so that it gives people something else to look at or wear dark colors at least. Of course this is not really the question  you asked, but it might work to some extent. I know you don't like sport's bras but really might be an option, you want something that compresses not uplifts (why the strapless won't work, imo. You can get them with wide straps. I think Walmart and Champion (which you can get at Target) might work for your purposes.

These are nice, maybe your dad can help you out with this. Alexander C spoke of them. I could wear them to exercise. The sizing is correct (so if it says get a small-- get a small).

I wore these with a C cup. As I said it wasn't 100% and I ended up with a binder, but it was a lot lot better than nothing even in a C cup.
