Hi everyone, I'm Sebastian I am 27 years old and I have decided to take the first steps for my FTM transition. I have always felt like a man, ever since I was little I have felt as if I was born in the wrong body. It's been emotionally and mentally painful for me living in this female body and I need to to do this because I am starting to break down I am actually starting to feel a little scared for myself. I live in regional South Australia and I very much doubt there are any services out here that can provide me with any help. I am seeing the doctor tomorrow but to be honest I really don't know what to say. I have done a lot of research about everything from Hysterectomies and Testosterone shots to Mastectomies and packing and everything in between. I have a few questions that I would really love to have answers to so I would very much appreciate any help

-What private health insurance company can I go through that would cover "top" surgery?
-How do I ask for a hysterectomy?- I do have a recorded history of very painful and heavy periods that I have been prescribed pain killers for but they have never worked so I hope that might work in my favor
-The best way to bind large breasts? I am a 16G
-When would I be allowed to start receive T injections?

I know it's a lot to ask but with the lack of services out here I really don't know who else to turn to and for me this is a matter of life and death. I need to do this for myself, I need to have the life as a man or as close to it as possible that I need and deserve. Thanks for your help. Bassy

Your far from alone in Australia. A few of our top mods are from there. It would seem that you are lucky in being an Australian when it comes to gender services so I think your research may have been limited.

South Australia is a large area, but

for starters.
