i've been feeling really bummed out lately about my chest, or lack of i should say, i was hoping it would be a little more than what i have now, i'll describe what it looks like though, when i lay down, it looks like i have nothing at all, but if i grab my breasts with my hands i can jiggle them and it basically feels like a bunch of fat, underneath my breasts i noticed these lines, (like how breasts are round) but there's really nothing there, my face has changed more than my breasts have really, what makes me even more self conscious is that i don't even have a bit of cleavage yet so i feel like that gives me away, i know i've only been on the pills for 4 monthes but i just wish i had a little bit more than i have now, i know it's different for everyone, but when did you start noticing that you had breasts? i wear a a cup bra because i feel like it gives of an illusion of having breasts, but most of the time i just wear a bikini top because bras really hurt.

How long do you think it takes a natal female going into puberty to develop breasts?  Four months?  Years.

You have to be patient.

i realize that, but i was hoping i would at least have something, like even just the littlest bit of cleavage to give off a illusion, i'm just scared hormones won't give me much, if not anything

While breasts are nice (and I really want them), I don't think they're necessarily the only thing that makes one a woman. One of the most feminine, beautiful cis-girls I know has less than an A cup. Give it time and I'm sure they'll become noticeable :)

I hear ya, even though I've only been on e for about 2 months. I am at the point where I also have barely noticeable growth, but we've just got to be patient. I am waiting for a while to reserve judgement, and if I'm still not happy when they're fully grown, there's always implants! I think ill be happy with whatever I get tho :)

sadly, i don't think i could ever get implants, so far in the future, i'm focused on the bottom surgery, but if i were to magically get a lot of money, i would get bottom surgery as well as a nose job.

Four months is no time at all. The fact you have anything to jiggle at all though is a very good sign. You may start to see something more substantial after six or nine months.

I am about 4 months HRT myself and I'd say it sounds like your progress is very similar to mine. As someone mentioned earlier, it takes time and honestly, they may be coming along further than you give them credit for. I still call mine "boobettes" but my g/f advised me the other day that they passed that mark a few weeks ago. My endo did recently up my dosage, so we'll see what the next few months have in store.

Good luck and they'll come along. The pyramids didn't plunk down overnight (depending on who you listen to of course) but were built one brick at a time. Just think of your breasts as pyramids being built one fat cell at a time :)

Slow growth and small here too. But I reached a real "A" after about a year HT, and working on "B"s maybe someday. My sister and mom are blessed with reasonable size( not too big or small), I have hope. I will consider BA after a few more years if things seem stalled out.
I use a push-up 38B bra and it creates a modest silhouette.

Im a 34 A/small B  and I wear a 34/ B tier 3 padded bra, it pushes them up to make cleavage and makes it look like I have D's.

Breasts don't grow overnight or even in 4 months. You need to relax a little. It takes a long time for the breasts to grow. Your starting puberty all over again. Sit back and relax and it will happen over time. For now just use padded bras and chicken cutlets. And if that is not working out then buy a set of silicone breast forms http://www.thebreastformstore.com/#ad-image-0

thank you ladies, but where do i get chicken cutlets or whatever they're called? lol. sounds kind of funny, but yes, i know i probably won't get huge boobs which is fine, my mom is a 38dd and i do not want boobs that big, i'll be fine with an a cup or b which is probably what i'll get in time.

My breasts didn't start to show "real" growth until I was 4 or so months in.  I started Estradiol in June and Spiro in July, but everything started to become more noticeable when I had my dose readjusted (for the second time) in October.  I'm not sure if it's the timeframe or the dose, but since then my chest has been growing a lot more.  I'm at a point where a bra is really needed.  So my suggestion is to just give it a little more time and have some patience.

I've been on HRT for close to 20 years and reached an A about halfway along, which was no big thing because I have a broad chest and they were barely noticeable and taken for moobs by onlookers. The perception that boobs develop only during a certain few years may be applicable in part to cis girls but in no way is applicable to MtF women, it's sometimes a slow process and is ongoing for many years. Like one of you said, breasts aren't what makes the woman! I personally feel that just enough to fill out the darts in a woman's blouse is sufficient for anyone to look plenty feminine and good in their clothes. If you have to add some chops or cookies so be it, because you can bet there are a lot of cis gals that do it too!

If you really want the best growth tho you need to be proactive about your diet. Drinking lots of water ya know. At 4 months I think I was at about what you were. Still had a good amount of muscle mass tho and that makes a big difference. I've been on hrt for 22 months and the growth has been very gradual. According to bra measuring I'm a b cup but still wear my A cup bras, cause I fill them out better but 32 Bs are much more comfy. So its like I'm in between sizes right now since I'm going through another period of growth. My back has shrunk a bunch in that time as well so my breasts look much fuller than before(smaller band size). I know its tough but you gotta be patient and keep your body as healthy as possible for hrt to truly work its magic.

If you're still not happy with the size that you have grown to and breasts are something you really want then I suggest getting breasts implants. Many cis women are unhappy with their ity bitty boobs and thus go get them increased.

Also having larger breasts do in fact give you self confidence. Just my personal thoughts. I went from being a 38 Large A to Small B to now a 38DD I love having bigger breasts also they suit my 6'3 frame.

You're pretty Lana. Peeking at your cleavage reminded me of a gal I used to work with who was well endowed, when we went to lunch her breasts would plump up and peek at me over the top of her blouse and to this day I cannot recall what I had or if I even ate at all. Some things though pretty can be a big distraction to those who appreciate the female form.

Yeah those are the two surgeries that I'm planing for as well, lol.

Seriously, give it some time before you even consider breast augmentation.  Before my latest dose adjustment, I was very much freaking out about my boobs and thought it would never improve. Now, I'm currently wearing a b cup quite comfortably, but I'm probably more of an a if you consider the band size and my cleavage isn't as defined as I'd hope.  Again, it depends  on time, genetics and many other factors. Even though I'm nowhere near where I'd like to be and pray for more development, it's getting better and I'm seeing more growth as time goes by.   It's hard to be patient but don't let it get you down. Just let everything take it's course and save judgement of your situation until after a lot more time has passed.   I just want you to consider that because I was really really hard on myself when I started hormones and had so many impossible expectations.  I could have saved myself so much heartache and tears if I had just relaxed and appreciated the fact that it all takes time. While I still get frustrated and am not as far as I had originally hoped for, I've made a lot of progress in this short time and have come to terms with the waiting game.  So, don't relax and don't get upset.  You'll get to where you want to be one way or another.  In the meantime, just relax. :)
