Its good for a fresh start for you. Hopefully she will come back to you.

It's possible. But it will be a different relationship though.

Thanks Saskia. You're absolutely right. Now I'm able to be who I am. And I've been really looking forward to it! And it's really nice to have such a supportive roommate as well. :) She's letting me borrow anything of hers, as long as it fits.

Yesterday I decided to go to another church and it worked out so well. I was greeted by a very nice woman who took me for a tour of the church and she showed me where all of the ladies rooms where.  :) Then when we returned to the sanctuary, she suggested that I sit on one side, and by 9:30, they separated the sanctuary with a divider and I was joined by 18 other ladies for a Bible study class. I was introduced as a new member and there I was as a woman of the woman's Bible study.  :) I was also invited to attend another meeting next week. I was very elated.  :) So I will not be returning to my other church because I have found a church that accepts me for who I am.  :)

Thanks Cynthia. It really meant so much to me to finally be accepted as a woman. It's been tough, but now it's finally paying off. :) Just sitting there amonst the ladies in the Bible study made me feel so much a part of them  :)

No problem Cindy. Hope the move went well. My move went with so much joy and I'm not looking back!  :) Everything for me is moving forward!  :)

Yesterday I saw my therapist and he saw such a difference in me.  :) Just being two weeks away from my mother without being agitated by her has made such a difference in my life and now that I'm not going to the same church is a big improvement as well! :)

Thanks Eva.  :) After a lot of hard work and perseverance, it's finally paying off and I'm now being able to be the person that I've wanted to be!  :) In four days I'll be seeing a psychiatrist and he thinks he's gonna play with my mind.  :icon_lalala:

That's wonderful, Gina!

I called my mom two nights ago about a yard sale that our church is having because my niece has a lot of stuffed animals that I thought she wanted to get rid of. So I told her that 'my' church was having a yard sale and I asked about the aforementioned stuffed animals. She wanted to know if I had changed churches and if I was going dressed to this church. I told her yes, and she was upset, but my other church was freaking out because they all knew me and they wouldn't accept me going there as a woman. At least this church all they know is me as Gina. My mom thinks what I'm doing is blasphemy, and if someone does find out that I'm not a 'woman' it would be considered betrayal.

There isn't anything in the bible that says that transgender women shouldn't transition, so she's getting this from somewhere else.

Gina, I'm so glad the new church is working out. Their gain is your old church's loss.
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?

Very well said Suzi! :) And I couldn't agree with you more! :) They may miss me at my old church and if they ask about me, my mom can tell them the real reason or she can make up some story for my absence. ;D Only God will know the truth. :)
