Hello, I'm Emily King.  I live in Boulder, CO. 
I have Albinism, and I'm Legally Blind.
I started having feeling of wanting to wear girls clothes when I was 11, but didn't find out about "Transsexualism" until I was 14.  I knew I wanted/needed to be female.

I'm now 34, and needing to come out and start living how I feel.
I will be honest, I am sooooo scared right now.  I know I have a few friends who would be cool, but I'm just really scared.

Welcome to the family. Just admitting who you are can be very scary the first time. Don't worry, it's normal. It's also going to be okay. We really do understand what you're going through. We're adopting you, sister. You now have a whole family here that's cheering you on.

You can worry over your friends later, for now just worry about yourself. You need to get yourself sorted out. The nice thing is that you can do it at your own pace, there is no schedule for this. For every step, you have Susan's as a safe place to ask questions and feel your way along until you're ready to take that step.

The people here are amazing and supportive. Don't be at all shy about asking for information or just some family support. We happily give both. *hugs*
