Any awesome/fun FTM-MTF wanna go shopping with me?!

Hi ALL!
So I need to go shopping for Gender Neutral clothing/more female clothing. Id like to start dressing the part, Im confident enough to throw something on and just go. I am starting hormones next week on tuesday. Anyone have advice on if I should wait for the hormones to kick in, or If I should just <Not Permitted> it and do what works?     
Anyone live in NYC/Brooklyn?

I'd love too but I'm 1,000 miles away from you! I'll be there is spirit. Make good use of thrift shops, there are always some gems in there and putting together a female wardrobe from scratch is expensive!

You got me all excited!! I don't know anyone here who is awesome and willing to shop. I have a wild taste so people don't hit my standard mark
I usually hit up vintage spots, not so much thrifty stores. Do you think I should thrift instead of vintage? Plus I don't know what my body type will be once I hit the 'mones, so I should probably shop with that in mind.
I want like body con dresses and gowns and things. Im extra as <Not Permitted>
