Hadn't heard that before. I use Luer Lock. Is that any good?

Luer Lock is a type of syringe (vs Luer Slip), not a brand and is different than the needle which I was referring to. Luer Lock syringes you twist the needle on/off the end. Luer Slip you slide the syringe over a tapered piece on the end. Just a personal preference between the two really, I have luer slip right now because I got them cheaper at the time.

You will have the syringe which is the piece the liquid is drawn into and you will have needles which you attach to the syringe. I was referring to the brand of needle not the type of syringe.

Good to know; I didn't realize the needle's a different brand. Ours come in a package with the needle already attached. Looks like it is a BD needle (PrecisionGlide). Thanks!

I don't think the jet would apply here I used to run out of the doctors office so I wouldn't have to get a shot. To this day I hold my moms hand. I found that being the one wielding the needle made me a lot less nervous and needle phobic. as I was in control of the depth the pain the pressure and the timing of all of it.
