Clothing and home furnishing retailer Urban Outfitters has come under fire from lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) advocates after reportedly selling a greeting card some have deemed transphobic.

As Unicorn Booty blogger Kevin Farrell notes, Urban Outfitters has a long history of "anti-gay" business practices and political donations.

Really though, even if I was a transphobic person, when on earth do you send that card to someone?

I wonder if they did anything about it almost two years ago.

Ah, you're right. I didn't even check the date because it was on the front page. Error on Huff Post's part?

I think that it's arrogant and distasteful. Things like that don't help the general publics viewpoint at all.

An eyeful of c***? Pretty sure that's not how you do it.

I actually have a birthday greeting card that shows two gay guys with one on his knees with a hand over an eye that says, "It's all fun and games until someone gets his eye poked out with a d*ck."

Wow.

Ummmm, I think that I will stick with cute cards with Portia on them.

I am so mad and disgusted. Did we kill these people in a previous life or something? What is the deal? I think......................never mind, I like it here, shutting up now!  ::) ARGH!

You have got to be kidding me, Urban Outfitters!

I guess the good news is, Jill could pass.  ;)

I read a corrupted version of that rhyme back over 50 years ago which at least made some sense. If "Jill" was a closet trans* person, what the heck was she doing up on that hill in a dress, or conversely, Jack got a face full of a packer, but that doesn't rhyme!!  I don't care nearly as much about trans*phobia as I do about zombies in the advertising department or who would buy it.
I refuse to have a war of wits with a half armed opponent!!

Wiser now about Post Op reality!!

Honestly, i dont really care much about it. If someone wants to sell it then let them. If jack is a character who isnt gay, let him be that way.
Im a storyteller and first rule is let characters be themselves.
I mean it is a bit of a surprise to find a penis where you expected a vagina. If anything, it comes off as pervy. Not exactly anti-gay.
