Hello everyone!
I was attempting to schedule an operation in March or May with McGinn, but from what I was told it wouldn't be for seven months before I could even get a consult , and needed to show up in person. After that it would be another 3+ months until I would be able to schedule the surgery.  Is this wait time normal? For a basic trache shave where you can just take photos of the area, is an in person consult usually needed? I was just wondering because I'm in the middle of nowhere Indiana and trying to get time off as a full time student and worker is hard to aline.

If this isn't common, for those who have recieved an adam's apple reduction, would you mind offering your experience / where you had it performed / time for recovery to board a plane? [Also, I am only looking at US locations.]

Ummm I would think that what your wanting would NEVER need a consultation. When I got FFS the doctor did the shave as well. I didn't even ask for it. He said he was going to do it because he was there anyways. I don't even recall any further discussion. It was like ummm ok.
