Long term changes from HRT?

I've only been on HRT for 6 months & I feel good. However I would love to hear from other girl friends on your long term changes for your body?

I wonder how much HRT can change a body after 1 year, 2 years, etc.??

I'm sure hopeful it will help stop some body hair & help move some of my body fat to more of a feminine shape.

Thanks for any real life experiences.

For me, body hair went away early on. But the fat distribution is still happening; I passed four years on HRT last month and my hips, thighs, and butt are still increasing and my waist decreasing. (My breasts are still changing too, but slowly; I'm unusual in that I had a lot of growth very fast, so I suspect I will also top out sooner than most people.) I think a lot of the most *dramatic* changes happen early, but that fat distribution and breast growth can be slower. Puberty lasts up to 10 years for cis girls, and there's no reason to think it'd be any different for us. Enjoy!

Thanks and it sounds like some nice changes do occur. I'm in for life so I guess no hurry. Every day feels better however as most of us I wish my body were more normal already. Less body hair will be great, mine is just terrible.

I hope the spiro is doing enough to remove the T stuff. It's been a while since a blood test. I still may have a simple orchie to make sure the wrong stuff is being removed. I've considered an orcire so many times however I just never followed thru & I'm not sure why I have not.

The breast keeps growing, now I am a full B... 
yes, the fat in my face, legs, and butt has increased... 
Body hair, what body hair? Only in my pubic area... 
Head hair still there, softer, finer but more abundant, and straighter !
My skin is lighter and softer,
Personality wise I am still the same, except a little bit more bitchy according to my youngest daughter
I have shrink a bit but weighs about the same,
some muscle loss but not big deal

2 years on hrt in about a week officially.

My body has changed drastically but I'm a young transitioner plus I have a very fast metoblism so a lot of the changes came on very fast. Been on pills from the start: p, estrogen, and spiro. I'm sure shots would further my development but they're way expensive..Waiting to have some extra funds for them.

Breast Growth: Boobs as of right now are two different cup sizes and still growing. The left is an A while the right is a B. And its all been very gradual.

Muscle and Fat: My neck and back muscles have gotten very small. Back to how I was before male puberty kicked in. Which has been a massive relief. The fat goes to the right places. I'm fortunate with my genetics as most of my fat that I gain goes to my butt or boobs. I have no muscle tone whatsoever. I've gained about 20 or so lbs. Trying to gain a little bit more since I'm tall..

Face: My cheeks are much fuller and was really afraid of needing ffs. But nope the changes to my face have been pretty drastic. Comparing old pics from my past, it looks like I got ffs. So I'm quite happy as far as that goes. Wasn't expecting that at all. The major faces changes didn't happen until about year and half on hrt..

Voice: I noticed it was much easier as time went on to maintain my female pitch after I started on estrogen..I finally have resonance but that could just be from my training idk..

Hair: Lots of my body hair has faded and a female pubic pattern has fully formed. The hair I lost on my scalp has mostly returned..And lately I've noticed after I shave my legs they take about 4 days for stubble to really appear.

So yeah I think that's most of my long term effects..

I took birth control pills from girl friends long long ago when in college. On & off HRT in my real early 20's, etc......

Now it's full time for the rest of my days so it's good to know that other girl friends have had decent success over time.

Lady Oracle,

I wanted to ask if I may what was the genetic background of your mother/parents. This is relative to breast growth. After 2 years I sure hope for you that both breasts can increase more naturally.

I'm optimist & may or may not be right however all of my maternal relatives women/mother, etc..... all had very large breasts, some ddd size.

Parents are Puerto Rican...My mom had wide hips but small breasts(b cup). But I actually have bigger hips than my mom does..My breasts I think will end up being a full B when they reach their final size.
