ch123

Hello everyone. I'm new here.
I was curious how many people on this forum have ever completely finished removing their beards with electrolysis?

I have been getting clearances on mine every couple months for about a year now.
The process is breaking me. It's painful, expensive and it leaves my skin a mess. And hair just keeps on coming.

Has anyone here won the battle against a full beard using electrolysis? If so, how many months did it take you before you completed it? I need some positive words of encouragement...

ch123,

I am very close to getting cleared for the first time so I do not have the direct experience.  However, the woman who does electro on me has been doing it for over 20 years and has totally cleared a number of us.  There are also some on this site who have been totally cleared so don't loose heart.

Based on what I discussed with my electrologist, there could be two issues:  First, my lady wants me back once every three weeks to keep moving forward. I will keep taking less time with each return.  Every six or eight weeks may not be frequent enough.  Second, some hairs do not come out totally straight.  Your electro person may not be getting to the root if they are not very attentive to your pattern.

Hugs,

Jen
To move forward is to leave behind that which has become dear. It is a call into the wild, into becoming someone currently unknown to us. For most, it is a call too frightening and too challenging to heed. For some, it is a call to be more than we were capable of being, both now and in the future.
