I'm thinking of taking soy milk but didnt know if it works. I know its high in estrogen. I just didnt know if It would help with getting breasts or anything for me. I don't want hrt right now. What are some good effects of me taking soy milk or other foods high in estrogen? Can it help me?

the long answer is really long, but the short answer is that soy milk won't really feminize you noticably

I've been vegetarian for 26 years, pre-dating even my first go at transition. I've probably been using soy milk, mostly on breakfast, almost everyday since then. In addition I've eaten a number of other soy derivatives (tofu, tempeh) on a regular basis. Maybe, just maybe, it has some minor effect on my overall hormonal level, but it has not been anything significant that I could point to. Soy might have a more noticeable effect in cis women since they already have estrogen in their system, but in the male body it is fighting against testosterone resulting in a negligible, if any, effect. Anyway, my experience over two decades is no.

You need to drink a lot everyday. There was a story a few years ago about a guy who drank like 4 gallons a day and it was causing "problems."

Ciswomen (or at least FAAB persons) can take something like Estroven for menopausal symptoms (like hot flashes). I think this works but the amt. of phytoestrogens in Estroven is like 10-15X what is in a glass of soy milk. I know trans guys who are vegans and probably have a lot of soy in their diet. Doesn't feminize them.
