Naming help

 Hi everybody! I'm new here, well posting at least. I have been visiting for a few months and finally decided last night to make an account. I am a possible future MTF. I want to give everyone a good introduction, but I have a problem; I need a hot female name lol! I was using a name before, but it was from someone I knew, and I don't want to use their name, so I need a new one. Anyways, can anyone think of some sweet names for me? I'm so bad thinking of names... If there's one I like and isn't taken by a friend or family member, I would love to use it and I would be very grateful!

It would help if you gave us some parameters to work with.

How many syllables? What first letter? What cultural heritage? What kind of ending (neutral, diminutive, hyper-feminine?)

sorry sweetie, but you're gonna have to do that yourself, it's not really our place to do that just come up with something you feel suits you, i came up with Latoya one day when i was at a store and a lady asked my name, she thought i said Latoya, and it's stuck with me ever sense, so i had my first middle and last name changed. thats a personal journey hon.    For me, my old name was Thor,  I wanted something scandinavian to replace it with. So I settled with Teela, which also happened to be one of my favorite anime characters names also. *huge mecha pilot fan girl*         Reene,  my middle name was a spin off of my old middle name,  but my last name which I wont give out,  is my gf's last name.   Her and her family have been so good to me durning my transition I honored them all and took their last name.  makes us feel like we is married also  :3  since our state wont let us be.

You know hindsight is 20/20 but I can say one thing. If I could do it all over again I would have changed my last name to something like SMITH. Might as well make it the most difficult for people to detect your background.

Ok, I have thought of a name, at least for the time being. It goes with how my parents named my brother and I by starting with a K. So for the time being at least, I will go with Kelly. It's pretty lame, but I've always sort of liked it. At least now i can do a proper intro! Warning: it will probably be lengthy. Thanks everyone for the help. If anyone else would like to share some names or how they decided on one, keep on posting! Might make me change my mind

Teela: That's a cool name too. It's sweet that you were able to use your gf's last name. I don't know if i would change mine though.

You could pick a name from one of your favorite movies, games, books and such. The name I'm going to use when I transition, I came across it in World of Warcraft, lmao. It takes two regular names and blends them together.  I feel in love with it when I saw it.

I just asked my mom what my name would have been if I'd been born right. Seems fitting. I got to bitch and whine about the ostentatiousness of it, went through periods where I used a shortened version for various peoples, and then finally got to grow into it.

I know how hard it can be to find that right name.  I'm still looking myself, so I can't be much help other than sharing my own inability to find the right name. My birth name would have been Kerry or Carrie had I been assigned female at birth, but I never really cared for those names.  There was a time that I went by as Jennifer or Jenny with supportive friends in real life and online; however, I don't think it suits me and I know too many people with that name. At the moment, I'm thinking of a name that starts with M because it would be somewhat close to my birth name, but I haven't narrowed it down.  The names Mandy, Molly, Meagan, and Melissa are being put into deep consideration (I really like Mandy and Molly the best, but the first 3 letters of Mandy are problematic and Molly is now so tied to drug culture). We'll see.  I want to see what my mother thinks my new name should be before I get too attached to anything, but I'm too afraid to ask because it will lead to more screaming.  Her opinion is very important to me.
