So I haven't really had the opportunity to come out to my boss. He is a really cool easy going guy and everything I just still wasn't sure how he would react to me telling him. We had recently had a guy come back from his other job to take up his position he had before. We had switched over to a new software system so I was training him for a few nights. We had gotten onto the subject of my performances and he just asked me if I identified as male. I told him the truth and he was cool with it. He doesn't treat me any different. That was cool, but just the other day my boss came in to bring supplies and had brought up the show that was on the tv that had a trans person on it. He looked at me and said "I don't have a problem with trans people. I've had a few friends who were trans and to me they're just regular people."
I smiled and my heart started beating then he said "I don't mind having you work for me if you are. Your one of my best workers and a friend." Then he left. Didn't really come out myself but it feels great to know that my job is such an accepting place.  :)
Oh how wrong we were to think that immortality meant never dying

Congrats man.  I had the same thing happen in my work place years ago.  so afraid to come out and finding my boss had no problem with it at all.  Nice to hear.

That's awesome, congrats. It's always good to hear stories of people who get it - and it sounds like he does. We are just regular people.

It's a huge relief when people just act normal. Congrats!
