Cisgender hate??

I've been using Tumblr quite a bit in the last few weeks and I've noticed a lot of hate for cisgender people on there.

From trans people? I guess it's natural to start feeling resentment towards those who have what you want (in this case, a physical gender that matches their mental one), although I can't say I've ever felt this way about cisgendered people. I usually look at them with admiration, or envy, but never the negative kind. If I feel any negativity from seeing cis girls, it's directed at myself for not "measuring up," and even that is rare. I usually feel dysphoric when I see my reflection, when I look down at my body, when I shower or change clothes, or when I think of how others see me. It isn't triggered by seeing others, but I have heard people say that seeing cis girls can make them feel dysphoric.

I can somewhat relate, though. I do feel this way in other situations. For example, I feel a great deal of resentment towards people who brag about how much money they have. It gets under my skin on a personal level, because I know so many people who struggle just to survive because of their lack of money. I'll also admit to occasionally feeling resentment towards those who seem to go out of their way to bring up the fact that they got GRS, or things like that. Don't get me wrong; I feel happy that they were able to, but it can also trigger feelings of, "What about my friend, who is one of the kindest people I've ever known, but may never be able to afford GRS, despite having to suffer each day with feelings of intense genital dysphoria?" It's just a feeling of how unfair the world can be. I think most of us experience feelings of resentment for people over *something*, but it's important to always remember that just because we may feel this way toward someone, it doesn't mean that they've done anything wrong, and they don't deserve to be treated with disrespect, just because they have what we so desperately want or need.

The thing is never have I looked at a female or male and thought "you a-hole for being born that way". I did look at females my own age before I came out and wondered why I wasn't getting those changes, I wondered what it would be like and how great it would be, but never hated one of them.


On the money thing, I can fully understand that.
I've been quite lucky with money, unlucky in other ways. I have friends who live pay to pay, I have others that spend like no tomorrow, I have others that if they make a few changes they'll have save money and have some at the end of the week.
My father was killed in the work place before I was born, the money left was invested for me and hit the jackpot. Since I came out, I worked hard to not have to live off it, but it has given me so much. One thing I've never done is try to rub it in anyones face.

I pass easily so I almost never have a problem except every once in a while when I have to open my mouth which usually gives me away.  Now most people are kind to me when they suspect something isn't quite right but sometimes I get some store clerk who is a bit rude to me.  It's always a female who is unattractive and over weight.  Now I'm not a beauty queen but I do make a pretty girl and  I honestly believe these females are sensitive about their looks and have a difficult time with someone who they perceive as being a boy, being more attractive they.

I am very active on tumblr and I see people complain about this a lot. Most cisgender, heterosexual people are ignorant of trans* issues and some are downright abusive to us, and there are more cis people than trans people so we generalize. Besides, when someone posts something like, "I was harassed today. #cispeoplesuck" any cis person who is aware and sympathetic of trans* issues won't take offense because they are obviously talking about the bad ones and are just venting their frustrations.

There is, however, the issue of people harassing cis people directly. I know a cis girl on tumblr who's bag was vandalized, when she confronted the culprits they called her a "cishet bitch" and said they didnt need a reason to harass her. That is obviously wrong and definitely needs to stop.
