I guess this is the best place to cast the net on this one, as dating IS a real life experience. Especially when it's done with the shoe on the other foot.

For those of you who have crossed the line and have moved on in life to your preferred gender and have started dating. Or finished dating and are settling into a new life with your partner.

Did your initial contact/meeting have 'that' chemistry fire up and slap you in the face like a wet fish, or did it build slowly?

How important was/is that aspect for you?

I'm absolutely gobsmacked at how different it is being on this side of the fence, with all it's intricate nuances. A lot of fun all the same.

Love
Catherine

I generally am not attracted by people of either gender. I need to warm up to someone, to get to know them and have fondness and love build slowly.
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?
