Okay, my hairdresser just confirmed that I'm receding. I don't have thinning hair but it's receding. What do you use?

For what it's worth, I've been using Nizoral shampoo for over a year, and it's stopped my receding hairline dead in its tracks. It's ostensibly an anti-dandruff shampoo, but it's also a topical androgen blocker, and since MPB is androgen-linked... ;)

Disclaimer: this works for me but it might not work for you, yadda yadda.

Disclaimer 2: it's SUPER-hard to find in the U.S. right now, due to manufacturing shortages, but you can get it online.

Minoxidil rubbed into the scalp, has no hormonal base as far as I know. I appear to have had good results after four months, but of course my T is pretty much dead so that is no doubt helping

Just Ole Me

Just trying to find comfort in this "shell" that doesn't fit.  But I am "remodeling" the shell finally!

Why Finateride AND Dutasteride?

Had finasteride before HRT, it worked.  Dutasteride came later, and I just take fin now because I have lots of leftovers and hey, it's not hurting anything.  Who knows, I may keep taking fin after the orchi just to keep the reamaining DHT nasties away from my hair. I'd sure like to see the widow's peak fill in a bit better.

@JS: thanks for the science to support my anecdotal evidence! I hadn't seen any of those studies, but it's nice to know I'm not fooling myself and imagining my results. I'm looking forward to getting on fin to accelerate it  ;)

Finasteride. It's stopped the loss and started regrowing for me.
