You won't get completely flat with DD boobs.

Yeah but the goal really isn't to be completely flat. The goal is to make it look like you have pecks rather than breasts.

I'm DD, and I get really flat with this binder: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ENZ63Y0/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i01?ie=UTF8&psc=1. I can fit in the medium, but it's really hard to get that on and it cuts into my underarms. The large is a little bit better, but the extra large it practically perfect. The nice thing about this binder too is that there are three different clasp settings so you can make it tighter or looser.

Sometimes I wear a sports bra under the binder though. It's not for extra compression, it's just so that fat doesn't spill out around the elastic strips, as it tends to do when I don't wear anything underneath.

Okay so pros of this binder:

  • built into a tank top
  • strong, not stretchy material with a elastic on the side
  • material is thin, won't get too hot in the summer
  • doesn't bind your ribs, easier to breathe
  • lots of different clasp settings
  • clasps, not velcro (I kinda hate velcro binders...)
  • comfortable
  • binds big chests really well
  • only $10 on ebay or on amazon with standard shipping
  • only $17 on amazon with prime shipping
cons:

  • can dig into your underarms a big if you get the wrong size
  • boob fat can spill out around the elastic strips if you're not careful

Another reason, other than bad binders, that people tend to get the uniboob is the positioning if their chest. They can tend to move closer together as you move around, but generally I position them down and out, rather than up and in. Different positioning works for different people, but spend a little while in front of the mirror with your binder and a shirt, trying out new ways of positioning your chest. Make sure to see how it looks with the shirt on though, because most of the time your chest might seem huge with just the binder on, but when you put the shirt on you realize how flat it really is.

"We all change. When you think about it, we are all different people, all through our lives and that's okay, that's good! You've gotta keep moving, so long as you remember all the people that you used to be."

I use the same binders as the poster above. I'm a smaller B but have very broad muscular shoulders and chest and have difficulty fitting into much else. The ones above are sold on eBay for less as well and the same company sells the binder separately too (meaning not sewed in a shirt) though it seems to have an extra layer on the one sold separate from the binder . I own several tank top ones and a couple of the ones separate from the tank top.

I have an unfortunately large chest as well and my tip to prevent the "uniboob" from happening is to separate them as far as I can once the binder is on. It makes a world of a difference, believe it or not.
