Saw my endo today. After 9 months on a strong dose of Spiro, she is starting me on Estrodial patches. She is starting me with the very lowest dosage they make. I'm 40 years old and she wants to take it safe and slow, which I agree with.
She told me my lab results are good and my T level was 680. I thought that was high but she said it didn't matter what my T level is as the Spiro is blocking the T from doing its job in my body (ie blocking receptors). Is this true that on Spiro it doesn't matter your T levels? I've had good results on Spiro this past 9 months but haven't lost the muscle mass I had hoped for. So how do it get my T level close to a cis female's without an orchi?
She started me on patches which I like. Hope I don't have any skin reactions.
Hugs
