If you live in the US, there is another alternative to Androgel. You can get compounded cream. The only downside is that compounding pharmacies are not usually covered on insurance (not sure why that all is). But anyway, this is MUCH cheaper than androgel. I have heard costs ranging from $25-150 a month (I think the latter sounds a bit high). Still happy Androgel is might go generic. Always good to have many alternatives and insurance picking that up might be less (though not all generics are super cheap).
