I swear this is a true story...

One afternoon working at the base's ER we had a man come in with lacerations to both palms. The paramedics delivering him did not tell us how he had gotten the lacerations, at least they couldn't't without bursting into laughter. So the attending MD turned to the man and asked him what had happened.

"Well doc, I was working with y table saw ad I accidentally ran my hand over it."
"Hand? That's singular, what happened to the other one?"
"Well, ya see those two asked me how I did it so I showed them.">_<

It was decided to give the man the benefit of the doubt and say it was the pain that made him do it. However, it does goes to show you sometimes the intelligence of military leaders is lacking. ;)
