Congratulations Gina. That is fantastic news.
You should celebrate :) :)

Thanks Ciara and believe me I was really surprised. He even asked me why I don't be a woman more than a man. So I told him that that was one thing that I was currently working on.  :)

First off my thanks goes out to Malachite, and then to Jerri. Thanks sister! :) Thanks for the congratulations Cynthia and yeah Kelly like yourself I'm living my dream and I'll be working as a woman!  :) And thanks Shana-Chan for your best wishes.  :)

Now as for the hours, the owner works Tuesdays {which works out good for me, because I have to take my niece to soccer} and so I'll only be asking off for Thursdays, so I'll be able to work Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday. And I've spoken with the other employee there, and she sees no problem. :) And she told me that I must have really impressed him by taking the initiative by coming back.  :)

Believe me Joan, I'm really excited!  :) :) :) :)

I found out that there were a few other resumes that were handed in, and it's amazing that mine stood out so much! :)

Why are you not?

Because I think you have a strong work ethic, are determined and really want to move forward. I read lots of resumes, those qualities stand out.

I went to see my new employer today and he greeted me nicely with a 'Hello dear," and then he apologized to me for being a bit busy with inventory over the past week. He then told me to give him a few days to decide. As I left the store, I noticed that the HIRING sign had been taken down.  :)  He told me that he would be taking me on Part Time, which would be good, because of the limitations with my disability.  :)

Went to Social Security today, and I found out that there should be no problem with me taking on the job as long as I'm working two days a week. The only problem that I do foresee is the months that have five weeks, but at least they can be overlooked.  :)
