Hi, guys.

So some of you may be familiar with the Emisil penis prosthetic: http://www.emisil.com/Prosthetic-store/Erect-Prosthesis/?unlock=1

I know that some guys on Susan's have ordered from here and really loved the products, but it seemed like a common issue with them was that the tabs wouldn't stay adhered to the skin with medical adhesive.  You can see one such discussion here:

https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/topic,135664.0.html

I personally like the visual presentation of the Emisil better than the Reel Magik - simply because there is much more variety and (I think) more realistic colouring on the Emisil (plus I like that it has the "upward" pointing shaft).  But the thing that was holding me back from purchasing one was the fact that so many people said it wouldn't stay adhered to the skin.

I emailed Emisil asking if they were aware that their product (the erect models) wouldn't stay adhered, and they responded:

"Hello Mr ******,

Thank you very much for your time and all this information. It is very important for us . We always try to innovate and improve our products.

We would like to inform, that we have good news and we solved this problem.

Prostheses now have:
• Bigger pubic hair arena.
• Flap / tab is a lot thinner than before.
• Prostheses are lighter.

We did a lot of testing and now we are using new materials, which have very good grip with medical adhesive .

Now Penis prosthesis adhesive very well to the body, using Silicone Medical Grade Adhesive.

We are far advanced, from the time we started to produce penis prosthesis. Now prostheses are ultra HD quality and all our products have stronger exterior surface than before.

Currently we are updating our web site. We are changing products photos, we add video clips, etc.

In our kit will be includet:
• Instroction sheet
• Medical grade adhesive
• Adhesive remover Gel

I think that for a month or three all information will be updated and available to all our customers.

Kind regards, Emisil"

So I suppose I was wondering if anyone has recently purchased one and, if so, was able to adhere it to the skin?  I don't want to spend that much money on something that won't stick to my body - using a cock in a harness is becoming more triggering for me, so I may have to end up with the Reel Magik if this Emisil issue is still going on.

Anyway, an update for those of you who may be interested.  :)

Hi
I ordered 10 days ago  but when comes I will give you know ;)

Thanks for getting in touch and showing us their update! I really want Emisil as the men in my family are uncut, so if this pans out, I'll be buying one when I have funds.

Glad to be of some help :)

Baileypayn, that would be awesome if you let us know what you think of yours when it arrives.

Good to know that they are improving their product.
I always thought emisil is too heavy to adhere well, but know I'm considering it. I know I like reelmagik but the waiting time is beyond me patience.

Thanks for sharing the info!

baileypayn, please update.  :(

^^^^Yes.

This is the problem with Emisil it seems - everyone who buys one writes a review about the look/feel of it, but no one ever tries the adhesive which is the number one issue!!!  Grrrrr  ::)

Hey, friend.  I wanted to tell you that I looked at their FAQ last night and it does say that you need a harness for sexual intercourse.  Are you sure when you talked with him he was clear on the fact that you were asking about adhesion when it came to the erect ones?  I was also thinking...have people said they can use the erect RM for intercourse with adhesive only?  I can only think of one guy (and I am not even certain if he said it worked that well).  It is hard to imagine something staying on when we are really into it (sorry if that was in poor taste...couldn't figure out a different way to say it).

I really am strongly considering getting a flaccid (01), at this point.  The shaft (if I understand it correctly) is 3.5 inches long, which is exactly what I am looking for.  Question, though.  I saw on his FAQ that he said a person should only wear it 10-12 hours.  I thought guys would wear prothetics for a couple of days?  The FAQ referenced the need for our skin to breathe as the reason to remove it, but I wonder if it just won't stay on past that length of time?  One thing that I noticed is that the tab on the 01 is significantly thinner now then it was when the models first came out, so that should be helping with the adhesion problem.

Do you remember if the adhesion problem was just with the erect, or both?

Yeah, I specifically asked them about the adhesive in regards to the erect model only, as it was the one that I kept reading about being "too heavy" or the tab being "too thick" and it not staying attached (not to mention, the plastic tab being "shiny" on the back and the adhesive not sticking to it).

Regarding the RM staying adhered during sexual intercourse, I've read that it does - the only issue seemed to be that it can slip if too much adhesive was used and some of the sticky can get transferred to the partner's body.

I'm curious about the adhesive with the flaccid packer model, too.  I'd really like a flaccid packer I can adhere as I'm just getting too dysphoric with harnesses.

**I noticed the thinner tab, too.  That's why I keep hoping that someone who's ordered one recently can actually adhere it and tell us about it *sigh*

Are there now less prosthetics on emisil, or am I just going blind?  I looked today and saw that there were only two flaccid ones on there, both cut.  I really want an uncircumcised one, which was something that emisil has up on most others out there.

Kreuzfidel,
I read through the entire Emisil thread.

Summary:

* There was one person who bought a flaccid, but did not come back to review adhesion.

* There was one flaccid reviewer who only tried a crappy adhesive, so his review doesn't count (but there seemed to be potential there).

* There were two people who had erects that didn't review the issue of adhesion.

* There were two guys who said their erects did not adhere.

I remember now reading one person talk about the RM sliding and getting stickiness on his partner (what you are referring to on different thread).  Elliot has a RM too and indicates that he welcomes questions.  He said somewhere in the thread that with the way the shaft is angled it makes intercourse awkward..or something about the positioning not being natural.  I am guessing it was maybe around page 6 or a few pages after you can find his post.  Was he the same person who talked about the adhesive sliding?  He was a reviewer who said the Emisil did not adhere.

Anyway, I bumped that thread with questions for the non-follow up people.

Hi guys,

I've been following these threads for a little while now, and have had the same problem finding any people reviewing the 'UPDATED' Emisil Erect Prosthesis adhering.

Anyway, I decided I would buy one of these and they've now dispatched my order. I received the same emails from Emisil; describing the updated erect model to have been tested & now to apparently adhere very well.

As soon as I get this I will be testing the Adhesive. For me this is most important, so I will definitely be back here to review (hopefully with success)

Hope this will help anyone thinking of buying

Steezy, that would be awesome.  The adhesion problem is why a lot of guys aren't buying Emisil - so if you could please update us with your experience, that would help a lot of us out.  Thanks!

The thing is, do ANY prosthetics actually adhere to the skin definitely?.. i mean i know sometimes people are lucky and manage it, but i have never heard of a prosthetic that hasn't had a problem in this respect by somebody.. every single one has had at least a couple of complaints in this department.. reelmagik, likereal, tyron, ftmprosthetics, lolajake .. all of them.. at least for the erect models have had adherance problems.. but it doesn't mean that they are not really good for sex etc...

I still think its worth it.

Reelmagik does adhere, and I'm talking about the erect model.  The problem is that sometimes people opt for cheap, crappy adhesive because the "good stuff" is pretty expensive - and then the thing won't stick.  The only one I've seen with a real issue in the way the prosthetic itself is made is the Emisil because of the shiny, weird backing on the thing.

I was advised to use the tape kit from Lola Jake in combination with the adhesive - I'll do a review once I receive my prosthetic (Reelmagik) in around October.

Flaccid Info

I was talking with someone on this site recently.  He can come in and say it was him if he wants.

Anyway, he owns one of the original flaccids that did not adhere.  He spoke with Emisil a week or so ago and Emisil said that he has indeed changed the tab, that it is larger (covers a larger area), and is thinner.

The member said in comparing his with the pictures on the Emisil site, that indeed the tab on the new ones are larger.

If indeed Emisil has changed the prothetics so that they have a different tab, it would explain why he removed the other (older) models (the reason why there are only two up now).

I really want to order one, but just dropped a bunch of cash into my car.  I also still feel hesitant.  I am going to wait for nowhereboi's review.  Although he says he is going to just drop his in a jockstrap, it sounds like he may try to adhere it.  I'm not even sure if I would adhere it anyway, (I am just not keen on the idea of shaving off my hair...I know it is just in my head, but I can't help but see shaved genitals as feminizing - and would therefore make me more dysphoric).

Regardless, I will contact Emisil with some questions, prior to purchase.

------------------

steezy and Kreuzfidel, just to confirm, both of you talked with Emisil and he said his erect model will adhere?  His webiste still says a harness is needed for the erect.
