Hello everyone and thank you to anyone who read my introduction post and then came here.

I just sent my mom a text asking her to call me when she gets off work soon.  She works grave shift and usually gets off between two and four o'clock. I'm kinda starting to freak out because I have absolutely no clue how she is going to react.  I feel like I'm going to throw up and I can't stop shaking. I don't know if this is a good idea, but just can't wait any longer.

I'm going to try to relax right now. I will be back after she calls  :icon_hug:

Amazing, I am so happy for you Alexis!

When I read your original post late last night I closed my eyes, crossed my fingers, and said a little prayer like thing for you. It sure didn't seem to hurt :D

Glad to hear your mom is so accepting. That is so absolutely fabulous for you. Really brightens my day hearing this! Thank you for sharing

I recently came out to my family and everyone went through the whole spectrum of emotions, shock, anger, sadness...etc...but we all landed on their love for me and I for them. I am a little emotional about your post for that reason...so the story of how your mom reacted to your situation made me teary-eyed.  I am so overwhelmingly excited and happy for your journey and for the wonderful person you can finally be. Congratulation  Alexis !!!!

many hugs to you !

:)

And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary."

Validation from mom has to be one of the best if not THE best feeling I had when I was coming out. Those of us that find immediate support have been given a special gift from the love gods. Cherish it and never forget to thank her when it means the most. If there's one thing I learned while coming out, it's that these events can sometimes bring people much closer together than they ever were.

Soak it up, be you, and enjoy this beautiful day :)
