I just want to thank anyone I've interacted with on the site since I've joined. I've enjoyed meeting and getting to know all of you. You're all really cool people and I've made so many friends.

I'd also like to thank all our administrators and moderators for their hard work and dedication. I know they must put up with a lot of crap for our sakes, from dealing with trolls and harassment to keeping careful watch on threads to make sure they don't get out of hand. They can't just click away when things get crazy like the rest of us can, or avoid topics that are unpleasant or triggering. They just have to slog through it all, day in and day out, and they probably don't get as much thanks for it as they should. So here's to our patient and kind staff! A big group hug for all of you! *Huggles*

Let's see... I should make some kind of pledge, too, while I'm posting here... Well, how about this: I'll pledge $1 for each person I've ever exchanged PMs with who gives me a hug.

Okay, today is the last official day of the fundraiser   

It is hard to tell exactly how much we have made (donations board is still broken), but between pledges and donations we are over our $250 goal.

Nevertheless, we have some unfilled pledge requests.

Alabamagirl needs SEVEN kisses or hugs, that she has pre-paid.

I want to thank everyone who opened their hearts and participated in the Kissing Booth.

I'm going to leave it up, but it will slip off the front page eventually.  In a world that's not very fair, at times cruel, and exceedingly hard on those of us who are, in our unique way, different from the rest, I find the kindness and compassion we have for our fellow members can make all the difference.

It has for me.  I owe you in ways you will never know.

Naw, you sound like a nice southern gal. I spent a year and a half in Kentucky and Tennessee, by the time I got back to Washington state people would ask me if I was from down south somewhere. Accents are infectious and frankly give some folks a lot of unique character.
