You have to have certain kinds of skin and hair, i.e. dark hair and light skin or the Tria does NOT work at all. I thought my hair was dark enough but it wasn't. I don't have much facial hair, thank God, but what I have is actually harder to remove now than it was, because if you don't kill the hair it can actually come back stronger and thicker. I'm going to need professional electrolysis and I urge any and all of you who are thinking about getting a Tria, even the newest, most powerful one, make sure your hair and skin are the right color. If you have blonde, light brown, red, grey or white hair, or you're dark skinned, don't bother. Not only don't bother, you'll end up making it much harder than it would have been had you just waited.
P.S. Even with a first rate professional operating a state of the art laser, you still have to have certain hair and skin.
