Hello girls, I'm three months Post-op (MTF) and I have some hair regrowth problems.

As it stands when I reach my fingers inside I can feel just a few hairs, they kind of prickle my fingers, I cant really tell how long they are, but my guess would be short but getting longer. This is what happens when you dont get enough electrolysis before the surgery I suppose. I thought I had covered myself.

My questions are directed to other post op girls who might have had this problem. Is there any chance these few hairs will resolve themselves (I know, sounds like a hopeful stretch) will they get worse? stay the same? Will a partners penis be able to feel the hairs for sure? there arnt many that I can feel, of course I dont know about in the way back.

Is there any way to get rid of them? do doctors perform vaginal electrolysis inside the vagina?

Any help would be so appreciated!

Good luck getting those out. When I did genital electro the electrologist told me of a few cases of hair after treatment post-op. he said it was very difficult and extremely painful. That's why even though I went to brassard I did it even though it delayed my surgery. Hope it works out for you, but be prepared to live with it.

My surgery was a great long time ago and back then they didn't do genital electrolysis. Within a couple of years all that hair just fell out. Of course it stays inside and one has to clean it out occasionally so it doesn't get stinky. All the hair between the lips also fell out, except for a little at the front.

Give it some time and see what happens. I do think that the tissue actually changes type and takes on the characteristics of what its supposed to be.

My electrologist does perform post-op intravaginal electrolysis after someone has healed from surgery. It is just a lot more difficult because the hairs are hard to get to, so results will be slower (and take more hours).

I have a couple just in the beginning (opening)  and after yanking a couple of them out I can't imagine how much fun it'd be with electrolysis.. The few I did pull almost made me want to scream or cry... Like seriously omg
