I am sorry if I am not making myself clear Cindy. Some issues are rather hard to define by scripture when they include many other aspects.

Adam was created "good."

After Adam and Eve transgressed all are born in sin according to the word of God.

From that time on people are no longer born "good."

There is sin and infirmities since that time.

That is why the "God made me this way" theory is not correct.

That is why people need healings, deliverances and physicians and such. because of the fall of man through the transgression of Adam and Eve.

That is why some are born with something such as MS or whatever. Because sin entered the world and man is no longer created "good" by God.

That is also why we as people need to repent and believe on the Son of God. He made the atonement for sin at Calvary. He can heal and deliver and even lead a person to the proper physician.

I believe people have transgender issues but disagree with the "God made me this way" idea as the scriptures I have just posted show it is not scripturally sound. I believe that this comes from being born with flaws because God is no longer making people "good" as he did Adam and Eve.

I hope this post shows a little better what I am trying to say.

May God bless.

But, if I am correct, your God allowed his Son to die in order to atone for those sins.

So wasn't the slate wiped?

If not what was that event about?

According to scripture that was wiped as you say for those who love the Lord for that sacrifice and believe on him. It doesn't clear those who do not love him nor believe.

Children are born in sin as David said but it is not held against them while they are too young to know right from wrong or what scripture shows to be an age of accountability. During this time they sin like some adults and have illnesses.

Once a child grows to know right from wrong they can either believe or not believe on the Son of God. Then they are accountable and subject to the results of their choice to either believe or not believe on the Son of God.

Healings and deliverances and such are all areas too lengthily to go into however as they encompass to many scriptures and life events and such.

So, yes, when Jesus died for the sins of man he wiped the slate clean for all who love him and believe on him.

One thing to remember is that being a cisgender on a support site for transsexual people makes posting hard. Many have been hurt by cisgender people picking and choosing scripture to use against them That is why I am hesitant to go into some areas.

I don't wish to hurt anyone nor get kicked off the site.

May God bless.

It is an interesting perspective.

To me unintelligible, but we accept all here who are none prejudiced.

I shall leave it there

Thank You

Del brings up good points regarding Christianity and trans people.

I think I'm trans because being female has allowed me to succeed in certain areas. If I wasn't biologically female I would have been punished more severely and things may have been handled through the courts rather than the school. If I didn't have female parts I would have had a harder time getting in to college (3 men to 1 woman ratio). Being biologically female I have experience on the receiving end of sexism (it goes both ways), which if I hadn't understood the feeling I would be a sexist jerk based on my tendencies. If I do go into the same industry as my major and do hiring I will be more sensitive to issues that people who aren't cis-white male. Being trans had made me more open to understanding others ways of life and struggles.

Me being trans is one of the reasons why I continue to be an Atheist. "God" certainly is not a perfect, all powerful, all knowing being in my book. If "he" was, he would of made me a boy.
Manchester United diehard fan.
