Trigger warning - sex in the front pain

My husband and I are currently long distance for work, and he visited last weekend and we had fun hanging out, reconnecting, and lots of bedroom time. He's above average in size, but has always been comfortable for me before T. I haven't had sex since he left, so of course I went into it expecting things to be a bit difficult since my body isn't made for his size and things tend to go back to what they are naturally.

During sex I made sure we took penetration slowly, since even before he left it was starting to become uncomfortable. Lots of lube, lots of foreplay to be sure I was actually ready. The penetration part was actually pretty easy, but it almost felt like the canal wasn't lengthening like it 'used to' to accommodate his size. It felt like he was hitting my cervix and wasn't able to move around it like he used to because things weren't 'moving' like they should. Afterward, there was some internal pain when I'd pee. It almost felt like my bladder had been bruised a bit, but after a few hours it went away.

I'm not sure what else I could do that's different. I know that T can reduce elasticity and weaken the walls but I haven't read anything about deep penetration. Can anyone think of something to do that might help next time? We can easily control depth but if we can work around it that's what we prefer.

T causes your canal to atrophy. E cream could help with this but I'm not sure you want to do that.

Hi randomroads,

Depending how serious you want to get, you could prepare yourself with an appliance that is used for women suffering vaginismus. Google the complaint or you can go to soulsource.com They have an array of pliable silicon devices. Hope this helps.

E cream does work. The problem with E cream, afaik, I think it prevents the clit from growing too much, that's what I think (I don't know for sure). It does not prevent other changes, because it is a super low dose (.005%) I think, which is way way less than the weakest t-cream on the market. It might be an option.

While it's exciting to think of things 'atrophying' it's also a scary word! Only exciting because I shouldn't have those parts in the first place.

Thanks all for the advice. I'll check the devices and shoot an email to my doc to see what he thinks about the cream.

E cream is an extremely low dose that won't effect your transition, except, I think for lower parts. Might be an issue if you want a meta though.

Um, not to get too personal, but do you keep things worked out on your own? I know I tend to mostly ignore penetration when solo, partly due to dysphoria.

I've had the opposite effect from T, even after two years. However, a friend of mine has the same problem. Their recommendation was to either do some prep up to week in advance to get the canal used to penetration again, or try an E cream like others have suggested. I don't know how the cream would affect your hormone levels or if it would though.

Well, I don't have much E to work against, but I managed to get a toxic level of T on a blood test even though I am using gel and also have to take the E cream. As I said this is a REALLY low dose, but you should only use the cream that is applied to that area. It's effect is pretty local. However, it does affect the genitals, at least I think it does.

Who says this? The estrogen cream is localised to the tissues it is applied to. Therefore if you're applying it to your vaginal canal, it will only have effect on those tissues.

The E cream probs won't be effective though, because of the T.

FWIW I am MTF and estrogen did absolutely nothing to me for over a year until I got my T below 100 ng/dl, then I started feminizing immediately. I would think it would be the same problem even if it was just in one area :c

Not at all true, this is an FTM post, so I am not talking about changes for the gals. Is VERY low dose cream It works on that area of the body really. Doesn't do anything else.

Uh-huh. But, the blood levels of T might interfere with it being effective. The E still has to bind to a receptor to do anything to any part of the body, and the T makes that process harder. Just contributing that thought in case OP tried and it didn't work.  :S

I still managed to get toxic on T while taking this. It is a REALLY really low dose. Don't want to compare dose because it is against the rules but the dosage difference is in the matter of hundreds times less.
