Ok, from what I gather someone would need the following things to start orking on her voice.

1. Voice recorder
2. favorite female voiced music (to sing to)
3. some kind of instructional help (either by person or other material)
4. lots and lots of patience

What do you all think? Also, what is in your opinion the best non-person trainer you can get o help you with your voice?

A key thing is also to not just focus on pitch, focus also on timbre, resonnance.
Your only need to raise you pitch half an octave. Its the harmonics that make a difference.
Much of the energy of a female voice is not in the pitch but in the higher harmonics, which can go very high (men's harmonic tend to stay close to the pitch), not in the pitch itself.

In males, a lot of the voice energy is in the pitch and in harmonics that are a close to the pitch, making it sound more booming.

I would also recommend a actress on TV, or a online clip by a female speaker you like and try to imitate her voice. You can listen at interviews of GG's, or TV episodes, Grey's Anatomy has a wide variety of female voices and its a pretty good show too.

A T-girl I know in the local community has a lower fundamental pitch than I have, yet sounds more female.  Voice resonance is the key.
