Today was one of the most exciting days of my life.  I went to see my counselor today and knowing that I'm a day further in getting testosterone makes me happy, but that's not what made it so great. An alliance center that is only a couple miles away from my apartment was having an event today for transgender people to help file for a name and gender change.  I'm pre-everything as some of you already know, but they accepted me with open arms and went ahead with the paperwork without any hesitation.  The documents for my name is all ready to be filed for court! :icon_mrhappy:

The gender mark has to wait until I get my hormones, but they said that depending on the physician, I could have it approved in a few months.  After that, my girlfriend and I decided we want to take up gym, mostly to help make my body structure more masculine since I'm slightly overweight.  She did a lot of research for certain work outs that shape your body to be more like a man and diets that boost testosterone.  I'm a bit skeptical about how those work, but I'm up for anything!

I feel like a new man and it's great.  I can't wait to finally start living my life the way I should.  Just thought I'd share this!  I hope you all had a good day as well and if not, keep your chin up.  They'll come to you too!

It's a great feeling when you can see things moving forward! Transitioning is such a long process and can be frustrating and very difficult to have to go through at times, so when you have those moments of breakthrough, no matter how small/trivial, they make the world of difference to you're confidence and hope!
