My wife needs therapy to cope and I found one that I don't see that is awesome for my wife to talk to.. she will see her at least twice a month.
New ground rules were set.
1. No more talking about it every day.. we have others we can talk to now so don't make it a focus of our lives daily. Just enjoy each other and live..
2. No sex.. seems my wife is confused.. and I don't blame her.. and I am not really that sexual at all now anyway....(my wife does like to cuddle me a lot and thats ok.. i love that).
3. We are not coming out to any other family members ..my sis knows and she is my support.. but not worried about kids and others.. seems that is one of the biggest fears my wife has so putting that away for now because I can pass for a long time and when we are mentally strong the time will be right.

So this morning we had our usual 1 hour coffee time like we have done all our lives and it was fun..
My wife also seems to get it now.  My wife seem so much better now..and she really likes the therapist.. and I do to.
So life is good

Congrats Carrie! I hope things continue to move in a positive way for you both. :) Your number one on the list is so true. I don't really think or talk about it anymore myself because I think of myself as female now and it seems normal. I even take a break here now and then just so I don't get caught up in thinking of it all the time. :)

That's terrific.

Just one word of caution. I've yet to know personally a transgender person that successfully came out to just a few family members. They all learned later their status was shared with other family members. Not trying to sow seeds of doubt, but rather pointing out it's common for these things to spread. Everyone knows a confidential person, who in turn knows a confidential person, before long the whole world knows. Be careful.

Nikko,
Yep loose lips sink ships.. and I wonder if my sis can really keep it a secret.. I think she can but I know what you mean..
My wife is the one that told her... because I was so depressed and thought I needed help from a family member.
I think she can because but will see..  :-X
