Hello

So a while ago someone mentioned that my significant other might "Already know" about me being Trans. I thought it was far-fetched at the time, considering it was a stranger online who said it. But lately I've been thinking that they might have been right.

So here's my question; Has anyone else had similar circumstance where you have had any/everyone else know before coming out?
If so what was it like when you did come out?
Most people are like Autumn Leaves, scattered everywhere. The rest are like diamonds, pretty, precious and rare.

When I came out to my girlfriend, she told me "That makes so much sense!"

It was still a total surprise to her though.

Even if your girlfriend has had clues that she has noticed, even if they are a lot of clues, she may not have connected the dots, and even if she has it might come as a total surprise to her that you are actually trans.

Even though mine was surprised, my coming out has gone over really well. In the time since then our relationship has changed but not really in a negative way. Just in neutral/positive ways. We're both still getting used to it (I still can't believe I did it :D), but she's completely supportive.
"When I think of all the worries people seem to find
And how they're in a hurry to complicate their mind
By chasing after money and dreams that can't come true
I'm glad that we are different, we've better things to do
May others plan their future, I'm busy lovin' you "

Lol... I got the "that makes so much sense" as her second sentence.

A few old friends said it too... then proceeded to list out experiences that proved it.  Awesome!
Body... meet brain.  Now follow her lead and there will be no more trouble, you dig?

I thought my ex knew, but turns out she just thought I was gay...despite the fact I never flirted with men, and I only had sex with her. Apparently having an appreciation for clothes and acting femme just made her immediately think "gay". Which is insane because if that is what she thought, then why marry me lol? I had to come out to her as trans, and then come out to her as trans again because apparently the first time didn't "stick", she thought I wanted to be a drag queen the first time...

I suppose my point in all of that is, many people will think something is up and go somewhere not quite right with their thoughts. Many people also don't understand being TG isn't the same thing as crossdressing, drag, etc. So be weary of people who act knowing but, are thinking something quite different from what you are.

The person who had already figured it out before me simply said "What took you so long". :)
