To grs or not to grs that is the question.

Right ive come hear for some advice, i've been living full time as a ->-bleeped-<- for over ten years now, had ffs and all that. Never really considered grs a option due to liking what most people would call straight girls, and being on the swinging scene. Every girl i have been with is like no dont do that. I myself would quite like to do it.  Any advise, i fear being alone more than having a penis if that makes sence 🙂 x

If it comes down to that for you, then my earlier response of not likely being for you is still applicable. It should be something you want at pretty much any cost or you may well find yourself regretting it the next time you go through a period of time where you are alone.

In a ideal world i would want both, but this is not a ideal world, not having it done is getting to me i must admit. But the fear of being alone out strips that. In my job ive seen a lot of people die alone, it terrifies me more than anything else. Ive lived full time since i was 19, but still feel stuck in some sort of limbo.

I'm sorry your asking a question that involves a very drastic operation and applying
it to a dysphoric condition that is some what not the most mentally sound approach to be taken when dealing with this kind of situation. It's an incredibly personal decision which would not be in either parties best interest. Sorry , I mean no wrong just my opinion on a very  serious life changing problem

Can't tell you whether GRS is right for you.

But I will say that you should please YOURSELF. Don't forego the body you decide is right for you because others don't want you to.

BTW, the term that starts with "sh" and rhymes with "female" is considered very nasty by a lot of folk. I'd suggest using the term "non-op" instead.

There's your answer.  Do what you want to do, not what others want you to do.  I imagine - and I might be wrong about this - that the swinging scene is ephemeral, people come and go, that your friends there are not going to be your friends in ten, twenty, thirty years time.

Well I would put my two cents worth in and say that sex wouldn't be the only reason I'd change my genitals- I mean think about it.
How often do we really have sex? How many hours in a lifetime would be spent? I'd say it would be single figures. Probably something like 2-3% of your life.

Now, with GRS of course you'd need to factor in that you will be doing it so other people will reflect the person you feel, if you didn't you would be answering the question realistically about 'should I have GRS', but if you're not 90% self and 10% others then I'd stay in non-op form.

Then again you do say that you WANT to do it.....so. There's' your answer.

That's one of the drawbacks of being pre-op/non-op.  But it is all a personal choice and it is your identity.

Some self-described ->-bleeped-<-s, such as Bailey Jay, identify as transgender and eventually desire SRS/GRS/GCS.

I guess the question is, do you think that you can handle having a (neo)vagina?

I myself will probably not get grs until much much much later. Obviously I have to come out first, but that's another story. I also am lesbian, and will probably ask my future girlfriend how she feels about it. It just depends on your situation and in your case I'd suggest waiting till you settle down.
