Today my dad his 70th birthday and we had lunch in a restaurant. All the family members were there, I didn't have tha chance to come out to them because we see each other once a year. My dad talked about me to them and they seemed to be accepting. After lunch we went to a family member's house and the men invited me to the hidden place of the house where women aren't "allowed". They greeted me as a new member of the "guys club". We had a few drinks and a good time. I'm really grateful for these moments and thought I'd share it with you guys since I didn't post about good things in my life, rather just when I have a question.

Hah thats neat.  Its nice to be so casually accepted.  I had a similar experience at my grandfather's 90th a few years ago.  Not the boy's club situation, but the never seeing each other and having it still be all okay because we're family and thats just the way it is.  That being said... I'm kind of glad my family has no boys clubs.  We're pretty gender neutral all the way around.
I solemnly swear I am up to no good.

Thanks guys and girls :)
@Gnomekid: yeah I aggree it should be like you described in all family. I think my mom's family is more gender neutral while my dad's not really.
