I was working out bills and trying to figure out how to handle health insurance this year since I finally hit the 90 day mark at my new job.  I might need to cut electrolysis out of my budget though, since it is costing me about $300/mo right now.  I've been doing it for about 4 months and have most of the upper lip, lower lip and chin clear.  What could I expect in terms of backsliding if I start shaving again?  Does anyone know?

Well, the hair grows in phases, and electrolysis only is used on the hairs that can be grabbed so I would think you would see a reduction in those areas but with only four months I would think a fair bit of hair that had been in dormant stages wouldn't have been zapped yet. Everyone is different, but the little electro I have had done seemed to do nothing unless that area was cleared quite a few times due to hair in dormant stages.

Have you thought about laser, it is a fair bit cheaper you might still need electo afterwards for light hairs, but it would be a fair bit less electro needed saving a fair bit of cash.
15 years on Susans, where has all the time gone?

I have thought about that, it's definitely an option, especially with groupons available.  And on the plus side, from what I've heard, I wouldn't need to let my face mess grow out for 3 days before each treatment...
