Alternatives to the LAGLC?

My boyfriend and I have been getting our T from the LA Gay and Lesbian center because they don't require a letter and keep the testosterone stocked. However, they're HORRIBLE. It's nearly impossible to get a refill, they're terribly rude, never call back, and are always screwing up prescriptions. I've gone weeks without T because they have so many problems refilling prescriptions, and that was when I called weeks before I was going to run out!

Does anyone know of any SoCal alternatives to the LA Gay and Lesbian center that we could get our hormones from? We've tried transferring it to different pharmacies, but the problem is that they can never seem to get it. Places like Walgreens and CVS never have it available and can't seem to get it sent to them because of some sort of "shortage." We're at a loss... help!

Check and see if the pharmacies will give you a different brand maybe? There has been a shortage of the on brand of T (whatever that is) since I got on T back in 2011 but I've had no problem getting the cheaper generic brand of T...which is cheaper anyway. Look for a support group locally for transgendered individuals since most have a non public list of doctors that will prescribe hormones and treat trans people. They would have a better chance of helping you since they are familiar with the local happenings.
