So, I may be starting therapy soon (I still have to find a therapist in my area) and I am wondering what can I expect during therapy? Like what kind of questions will they ask, what to talk about and just how I can get prescribed T and how long will it take?

depends where you are, and if your seeing a gender therapist. I live in rhode island and I am going to a gender therapist, when I called I just said I wanted to talk to her about gender issues. She was really nice on the phone and when I went for my appointment, she was like so whats going on. I kind of sat there and didnt know what to say, so she just asked me basic questions, like any health issues, how have you been feeling, you on any medication and then I finally just blurted it out to her and she was like ok and calls me Ryan during sessions. Basically, she wanted to know my plans for the future, like what I wanted, hormones, surgery, if i'm involved with the lbgt community. Basically that first meeting, she said whenever I am ready, she will refer me to a doctor to start hormones. She basically had to see I was sane and this is what I want. Going in, I knew what i wanted and i already wear guy clothes and my hair is cut short, so I talked to her about that. It all depends on the therapist and where you are I believe. I still do not have my T letter, because I know myself, I am not ready to start T right now (hoping to by the summer, but I want to meet with her a few more times). She is also helping my mom understand transgender, because my mom thinks I'm talking crazy, but the therapist can also help explain stuff to your parents or family. Hope this helped a little. If you have any other questions, feel free to message me.

I went to an onlin therapist and one our first day, she just really took the time to get to know more about me.  She asked me basic questions like my age, am I in school, what is my major, what do I want to do with my life career-wise, etc.  She also asked about my childhood and how my family is as well as how did I function in school socially and what my goals were concerning transition.  I believe we also talked about my past relationships romantically.

I can't answer about the T part since I'm getting top surgery first, but if your therapist figures that you are sane enough to do this, and in your case have your guardian's permission, then they may write you a letter for T (or maybe even blockers).  How long that takes will depend on the therapist you choose and how many sessions they want you to go through first.

On a side note, I'd suggest seeing if you have any informed consent clinics near you so you may not have to go therapy.  They might let you take testosterone if you have your guardian's consent, but I'm not too sure how that works exactly, but it's worth checking into.
